Trying to decide if I should take down the Christmas tree and decorations before or after New Years. (It's a hassle either way).

We always keep ours up for New Years, and then take it off either on the 2nd or 3rd. But yea, either way it's a pain. Beaten

we use it as kindling to keep the neighborhood warm on those cold winter nights.

do what i do, it's so easy. leave your fake snow fabric undersheet in place, let all the needles fall off, break the trunk into 12" pieces (i prefer a gas chainsaw) and throw it into the fireplace. Ahhhh... the smell is soothing, it's like burning your worries away.
