SINGAPORE with their first gold medal.. well i don't know about other countres.. but singapore's water polo team have defended thier title for the 20th time..
read this article:
It wasn't the start they wanted but, in the end, our guys delivered with style, winning Singapore's 20th consecutive SEA Games water polo gold. The players started the defence of their title on Monday with a narrow 7-6 victory over the Philippines at Hanoi's National Aquatic Sports Complex. This caused concern and there was, for a brief moment at least , thoughts among fans about whether our domination in this sport may finally be over. But our boys kept their focus and stayed on track with a 22-7 win over hosts Vietnam the next day.
omedetou.. well, anyone can post stuff about thier country.. but me being singaporean i will post team singapore wins..
medal tally: singapore with 1 gold, 2 silvers
leading country: malaysia, then phillipines with 4 medals each..

Im not too suprised to see chess as a sporting event at the SEA games. Its a popular worldwide game. A teacher of mine once told me they had Chess and Checker stadiums in Europe.

Hello... eheh... (^.^) Malaysia is at the top of the table
but Malaysia did not participate in all contest, especially in 'sepak bulu ayam'. You can espect some nation will bypass Malaysia by the end of the (SEA) games.
Why there is chess & pentanque? It simple, because the host nation want to increase their chance of winning gold.
I hope Malaysia will beat Myanmar in the next football match, so that we won't see Thailand in Semi Finals.
