Hello. What do you think are the best dramas that Dohmoto Tsuyoshi has acted in? I'm kinda curious about him since everyone says he's such a good actor.

all shows he starred in are great!! from kindaichi to summer snow, etc etc. but I tot "I'll be back" was kinda different. The plot was pretty convoluted and he had to be convincing to pull it off. Plus he juggled several images in there- perturbed son, loyal friend, detached lover, etc etc. But he IS one talented actor, contrary to what pple tink of teen idols.
Well I don't think aging has anything to do with Tsuyoshi's chubby face in his recent dramas... he's 23, that's now when you're supposed to look old
I think he just likes food too much...
As for Yutaka... did you watch Dekichatta Kekkon? He needs to put weight on! He looked like a skelleton in that one... too bad, his eyes/nose are still good feautures.
As for takuya.. yeah he seems to age fastest among all artists... really, he doesn't seem to sleep much does he?

definitely overworked, takuya......
ironically i always tot tsuyoshi was a careful weight watcher, remembered reading online that he deprived himself from ice cream and watnot for fear of weight gain.....either it backfired, or maybe it's a medicinal problem, like some artistes are suffering from nowadays....
i also heard ryoko hiroshue grew a little oversized after being stressd out big time by that french director.......is that true?? havent seen her photos...
Sorry haven't heard anything about Hirosue lately... I am not very up to date with the news on Japanese entertainment industry... hirosue working for a French director?? Is he starring in some american or european movie or something?
Would the French director be the one who directed the French comedy, Wasabi...with Hirosue Ryoko in it? Was it really that bad for her?.....I do agree she does look a bit different but she just looks older to me. Anyway, she'll always look cute to me!
She has new drama being aired in Japan on Friday nights currently (I had my friend read the Japanese website). She looks fine in the pictures I saw from it. BTW, she plays a rich blind girl and Watabe Atsuro plays a guy who is posing as her brother to get the money (I think) The main guy from the "Battle Royale" movie is also a supporting character.
Yeah was Wasabi before Dekichatta Kekkon? I must admit, she got some extra wrinkles in dekichatta kekkon... she looked exhausted, just like Takenouchi... fame comes with a prize... for the women it's worse. All these actors age faster than the average human being.

hahaha.... but you have to admit at the same time that plenty of these stars manage to maintain their youth and appeal a lot more than the average human being too.... sometimes i think it's quite amazing a fifty-year old actress can pass herself off easily as a thirty-year old...
you know some of those variety shows, where artistes seek their childhood friends fr their past?.... some of these pple 're-discovered' are like bald, fat, wrinkly and plain haggard-looking, while beside them, the same-aged star looks positively ten years younger!
i guess it works both ways. you're stressed out and you age and deteoriate, but the pressure of the industry compels you to maintain your looks more than the average man in the street too....
yes, I'm sure they have personal fitness/health consultants. And don't forget the major factor...MAKE-UP!!! They are rarely put in front of a camera without any on...they don't wake up like that u kno.

Please pardon me. I think Domoto Tsuyoshi's image in the MTV of Deki Ai Logic is really unsuitable for him... Then, I saw some pics of him with a bandana and he looks very different from his past image.
What I don't like about Dohmoto is his long hair look... it looks so unnatural it simply doesn't suit his face... btw did he wear a wig in some of the doramas he starred in with long hair???

wat??!!! that's a really gross supposition man ... if it's true i will seriously have to rethink my fondness for dohmoto.....wig indeed!!
i tink he does look better with short boyish looking hair ie the 'To heart' look, but felt his lion mane in Summer snow whenever he woke up looked so hilariously endearing....buahaha, chuckling just recalling his face there....=)
lol, I don't know, I just heard from one poster that he wore a wig in one of his doramas (not that he's bald or anything, they just wanted the long hair look so added some clip ons or whatever)... I didn't really believe it, but if I look closely in some doramas his long hair did look a bit... unnatural
