im quite obssessd with him with curly hair.. like the one in ENGINE =)
shoulder length hair seems perfect for him.. haha dont really like him with those really long hair.. thought it look rather "oldish"
in conclusion... regardless of whatever he has.. i still love him!
here's a good picture from engine to share
Shall I talk about Kusanagi, aka "That SMAP guy" for a couple of pages?? I'm sure there enough materials from his appearances on Dotch Cooking.
AHaha..you're more than welcome to discuss about him. In fact he has achieved many things too. I personally like his drama better than the rest of the members because he had so many variety of roles in his dramas. Actually Tsuyopon is the best dancer in SMAP (that's my opinion) since I've seen their concert and most of his dance moves were more difficult than the rest.
Aside of receiving an award as the Best Jeanist, he also has received an international award in Russia for his movie called "Hotel Venus" shot entirely in Korean Language that forced all Japanese actors to speak in korean including Miki Nakatani. Maybe he's not all that in terms of look but in he really sure got talent.
Haha..I only watched dotch cooking show once and I don't have enough knowledge to ramble about him in that show.

Haha..I've watched that one too. He's so cute as an elementary teacher. Well, I usually like his dramas I think almost all of them. Even the recent one, Koi ni Ochitara.
Well, I dunno why they voted him for the best jeanist maybe he's just an avid fan of vintage jeans' collector too? This dude collects vintage jeans..hehehe..

There will be a new group, KAT-TUN from Johnny's debuting. I read from several news sources that KAT-TUN is touted to become the next SMAP. What do u feel bout it? Do u think they have what to become the next SMAP. Personally I am not so interested in them.

personally, i dun think they can able to replace SMAP... a fews years times, Johnny-san was trying to find some groups to replace SMAP.. but none of them can able to replace... SMAP was a unique group and I dun think no one can able to replace them, as for their success.. everyone can able to see how success are they.. even though i not quite sure about KAT-TUN but they are still young and need to train to be themselves as well as having to be their own styles just as the younger groups like NEWS etc... as for KAT-TUN.. i think they had waited for so long to be debuted and worked very hard too.. so all the BEST to them!!!
SMAP ALWAYS SMAP... no one can replace!!! _________________

i dont think any group can replace other groups. SMAP has its uniqueness.... and they worked very hard to get to what they are today. that's why a lot of ppl support them. from what i read from the Kattun thread, they also worked hard these few years, so i think they will deserve their share of popularity as well..

Happy Birthday to Shingo!! Yay!!
I don't think any group can replace SMAP. They are like legends already and will forever hold special places in many Smappies hearts. _________________

hehe.. Forgot to come wish Shingo a happy b-day.. saw the annoucent yesterday.. meant to come... and was reading an article and saw his name
SHINGO!!!! OTANJOUBI OMEDETOU!!!
As much as i like KAT-TUN.. I won't compare them..
1. it's not nice to compare groups .especially groups from the same company.... (yeah it's true competion will occur... but that's fact of life...)
besides.... SMAP and KAT-TUN have different styles...... SMAP will be SMAP, KAT-TUN will be KAT-TUN
besides... SMAP has mentioned KT at their cons before.......
gosh..now i'm going offtopic ~Sorry mod~ I'll bring it back to SMAP now...
Shingo kun....~~ You baka you... You're great in saiyuki... I laughed to the point of tears.. Keep up the good work.........
It's ok miyuki, someone brought this topic anyway but I think KT has a long way to go to reach SMAP popularity. SMAP is pop culture icon in Japan. They were formed in 1988 and debuted in 1991 for the first time..*sweats* It was this group which pioneered all JE groups to have variety show to boost popularity.
