Be advised that people WILL have sex regardless if money is an incentive or not.
Making a baby however, is not something that many people are willing to do out of spite. With or without a monetary incentive. |
The cost of raising a baby is way more than US$3000. But it's a nice subsidy from the government.

The problem isn't that bad. I'm sure that if it starts to become a HUGE problem, the news about it wouldn't be out until years from now. I mean, there will have to be a shortage or at least a shortage scare for such news to debut. _________________

Yes, indeed.
I have not heard anything yet regarding the topic from where I'm at.
Let me know when you hear of such news in the area you're at.
I'll be sure to let you know if I hear of such news before you do. _________________

I doubt it'll be in the news here in the short term with all the after effects of Hurricane Katrina.

Yeah, I think there'll be more coverage of Britney's baby than this.

hey aho. let's say you ARE really going to do that, (flying to ) to have your kids, and then staying until after registering them in the koseki shohon (family registery), then flying them back to HI. Being that they would be nihon citizens living in abroad, would they be counting towards the nihon census?
(click on the yellow link) Japanese 2005 census
(BTW, the census there goes every 10 yrs: ...1985, 1995, 2005...)
Just wondering,
