I think that's "3 days 4 night". Yup..romantic love story indeed. Toshiaki Karasawa plays the gigolo (Kanzaki) and Esumi Makiko (Machiko) plays as the girl he met.
I thought Ringu was a great movie. It's up there with the Exorcist as one of the creepiest psychological flicks.
(And this coming from a guy who can't handle horror flicks without closing his eyes and plugging his ears during scary scenes)
Oh yes.
Does anybody know the name of the actress (the main dancer) in Shall We Dance? Man, she was so amazingly beautiful. It's weird because some of her features are unattractive (really small nose, bulging eyes), but somehow it all comes together perfectly.

I hear BR2 isn't close to the original BR. At least it's bloodier than before according to the trailer I've seen, hehe!
Gonna see a jmovie Drive by Sabu at the annual film festival today. The movie features actors such as Shinichi Tsutsumi (Yamato Nadeshiko, Good Luck!!), Ren Ohsugi (Usokoi, Merry Christmas in Summer), Kou Shibasaki (Good Luck!!, BR) and Susumu Terajima who are familiar faces in jdramas, hehe. The movie is shown at 4 pm local time. The ticket is around 6,5 . Gotta go reserve mine soon.
Got home from the centre a little while ago. Drive was sold out but I managed to buy one ticket, hehe. It was a small theatre, approx. 110 seats but quite cozy. What we do expect from Drive? *may contain spoilers* Sabu is known for his bizarre movies and this movie is no exception, hehe. Another Sabu movie loaded with irony, typical "sabu humours" and dark theme, hehe. A Very funny movie, I laughed at several scenes Not much of a story in the movie. The actors performed quite well, we get to see Sabu's cameo appearance, hahahaa!
Overall an ok movie packed with loads of humours and "offtopic-things",
I have no plans to see other movies at the festival, cos there aren't any movie offers I'm interested. Jmovies offers were disappoinment. Less movies every year I really hope the festival will have better jmovie selections next time.
Little synopsis of the movie:
Asakura is a straight-laced salesman who is hardwired to follow every rule. One day, while struggling with a killer headache while driving to business meeting, Asakuras car is hijacked by a trio of masked bank robbers who had their loot swiped from under their noses. The three orders him to follow the thief, but ever the straight arrow, Asakura insists on driving the speed limit and stopping for all red lights
Hmm...it seems Masanobu Ando (my favorite actor ) acted in yet another movie related with car and robbery he..he..(see Adrenalin Drive with Hikari Ishida) and Space Travellers (with Takeshi Kaneshiro, Hiroyuki Takeuchi and Eri Fukatsu). Anyway, I'm looking forward to see any of his works, he's a briliant actor
