depends on what you like actually.. since i like high school dramas.. i love gokusen, GTO, the teachers' version of tengoku ni ichiban chikai otoko, itazura na kiss etc.. think about what's your type of drama.. the tear-jerking kinds(hoshi no kinka) or the one story one episode kinds with comedy and tears..(mukodono) or the long drawn out love story family oriented kind..(hatachi no kekkon) or the wierd science fiction or "the dark side of human" kind (long love letter and neverland) ..

Can someone tell me about Takenouchi Yutaka's "shotgun marriage" and Takeshi Sorimachi's "double score". Are they any good? I'm considering buying the vcds. Thanks!

i havent watch double score yet..
is it available in kl?
as for shotgun marriage...
pretty funny story
kinda like it
if u have extra money to spend no harm putting your hands on it..
ryoko looks extremely cute her
Yeh the reason I asked about Double Score is because I recently re-watched GTO for the Xth time and feel that I should probably move on to another Sorimachi drama? lol Since I live in the States and have no easy access to vcd's, I usually purchase them via coolwin-video.com. The site offers steep discounts.

I've watched all 3 and man...don't make me choose! I love all three!
'Hero' have an interesting storyline and kimutaku's acting is just kawaii! I like the love-story plot for LG and Long Vacation is excellent too!
I love LV coz of the the crossed between Love & Dreams!
I don't mind the age thingy though. After watching LV, simply love Tomoko. She's a superb actress!!
So yeah, all three are beautiful!
yeap same here..
kimutaku's role in hero is pretty different from other dramas...
hilarious type of person..always ordering products whenever he sees it on the tv
i prefer LV more than LG..but both r good dramas...
maybe because i'm more into piano..

In order:
1. Love generation
2. Long Vacation
3. Hero
It is hard to choose...but i prefer love stories...LG is definately to best cause of takuya and matsu...their so cute together.. LV is good..but it misses something from LG. I'm the other way round..not into piano..stopped at 3rd grade Herp can't really be compared to both of them cause the main theme isn't about love...it's more of a comedy

both of them are takuya's drama. and i'm a big fan of takuya.
i think both of them are good and highly-rated, but i like hero better because hero is more funnier and takako looked more beautiful in the story.

Hi there!
Between Sleeping Forest (Nemureru mori) and Ice world (Koori no sekai),
which do you prefer? (Since both are so similarly great!!)
Both scripts are written by the same author,
both are mystery dramas with tons of twists,
both have a nice theme song,
both have superb leads (i.e. Takuya Kimura and Miho Nakayama pair vs. Takenouchi Yutaka and Matsushima Nanako pair)
and both will keep you guessing...
(though I failed to guess the correctly for both series!)
For me.... it's a tough choice,
but I'll choose Sleeping Forest,
cos the whole story is more mysterious!

hmmmm....
me watched a little of ice world only... watched it when it was shown over the tv... so tend to miss quite a lot of the episodes...
but for sleeping forest, me bot the show, so watched it from beginning till end...
don't know abt ice world... but i do like sleeping forest...
the story is very dark and a little twisted but i still like it a lot... and it's not only cos' TK is in it...
it's really quite a good show... kept one guessing till the end... i did guess correctly tho...
the ending kept me sad for quite a long time...
my heart really went out to Naoki...

WHAT A COINCIDENCE!
i just finish watching sleeping forest and i see this msg at the top!
Personally i like both... maybe sleeping forest abit more, cos i dun really like the ending of ice world... after being so dark for 99% of the show the ending was too good for such a show...
But as for sleeping forest, can someone please explain what the ending means??
SPOILER
So naoki sleeps and minako sleeps... does it have some kinda special meaning?
i guess...since i'm a great fan of such mystery stories.. the plot of sleeping forest is more intriguing, twisted and dark. it spans a longer time period and more history. ice world has a more straightforward cause-and-effect theme to it.
but... drama wise, i guess ice world would be better than sleeping forest.. at least to me. that's because in ice world... the way the story goes makes you wonder if matsushima nanako is the killer (esp. when she walked out of the police station.. with that winning smile on her face.. ). i guess that makes it more interesting?
so... my preference is ice world (the OST is wonderful)
p.s. did anyone know that the opening sequence of "sleeping forest" actually depicts how each of the characters that died, die? for example... yusuke santamaria fell to his death... thus in the opening sequence where they were all in the forest, yusuke santamaria fell into the bushes...
also.. it was said that if you watch the opening sequence of ice world carefully.. you could have known that ujou's wife is the killer.. i tried.. but couldn't see. :rolleyes" _________________

wow... seriously coincidence man!!!
i was sooooo bewildered by the ending when i finished the show!!!
so i logged on to CJ Morikai's site...
i think Naoki died in the end.... from that head wound he sustained from the fight wif Santa Claus...
