Ok, we already have tons of threads discussing j-artists and how much people love them. I thought I'd start a thread discussing artists that just aren't people's cups of tea! If there already is one, please direct me and lock this.

So, how about talking about j-artists you don't like very much and why? I'm very curious to see which names pop up. I usually don't speak of my own very often because they tend to be faves of the masses and am scared of being flamed

List of those that really don't appeal to me at all (most of all):
Tokiwa Takako
Fukada Kyoko
Hirosue Ryouko
Oikawa Mitsuhiro

Sorry, she just irritates me. I haven't seen dramas with her in them in a long time so I can't pinpoint details about it, LOL

Sato Aiko I can understand....I only saw her in Itazura na Kisu and Naomi. In Naomi she got on my nerves. In Itazura na Kisu she got on my nerves a lot but she did the part really well (because she was supposed to get on your nerves) I loved both of those dramas though

But I will finish it though... just need to pluck up the tolerance a bit more...

LOL, you only need to make it to disk 6 Don't worry....it's not Sato Aiko specifically that will drive you nuts. It's her character, she's supposed to drive you insane and make you want to smack her and stuff "IIiiiiiriekuuuun!" LOL!!!

LOL.....I love Matsu Takako too. But, I wanted to smack her character in Long Vacation. Luckily I saw Love Generation and Omiai Kekkon first because I loved her in those I haven't gotten around to Jinbe yet. Hero, I never finished though....she seemed like kind of a lush in that...hehehehe.

I can agree there. I can definitely say I'm NOT a fan of Hello Project.

I didn't like Fukada Kyoko so much either since she was always playing the same character no matter what her role. I am not sure if it was her mediocre acting skills or the directors.

But about the about comment about her being the "fattest thing on tv," why does it matter? Are we rating the actors' skills or their apperance? If it's the appearance, then there should be MANY more people listed here, haha. Still, I think she's adorable, and not the slightest bit fat. Compared to the obsession amongst thin female Japanese stars, of course she looks "fat." But people eventually have to gain weight as they age, even the super thin Hirosue did too when she got older.

Hehehe, I won't knock her looks: she's kinda cute. My thing on her is that I don't think she could act her way out of a paper bag....to put it quite bluntly I'm gonna stop right there with that because I need to duck now to dodge the flames...lol

The only thing I like about her is that she's not skinny as a rail. I don't think she's fat in the very least, but compared to some (well yeah, MANY), she could be considered "chunky", and I've heard it said. She looks average sized at the very most, which is fine by me.

yah long vacation is what made me hate matsu takako and hirosue ryoko.. not really hate, but more like .. guys drooling over them when they look mediocre to me. their characters in long vacation didn't help much either.

FUKADA KYOKO - She is terrible and doesn't know shit about acting. It is a big shame she is given all those roles. She might look cute to some people but that's all about her.

And hey, Matsu Takako rules!

WOW! is Fukada Kyoko topping the list?? i can't stand her too.. i don't care if she's cute or not.. (cuteness doesn't appeal to me) but her acting really CMI.. >< i always see her chasing after guys, with the same going-to-cry face in most dramas.. *faint* don't know how many guys have suffered at her hands.. ><

and frankly speaking Matsu Takako doesn't appeal to me, my friends always told me that guys will prefer her over Matsushima Nanako (if given the 2 for comparison) i don't understand..

and for guys, i got to say it's Matsumoto Jun.. *opps* i know there're quite a no. of his fans here.. but he's just too AA for my liking.. i wish he would try to mellow down a bit and stop wearing those gigantic rings and other accessories.. i still like the him when he's younger (during those jr times)

Hamasaki Ayumi..I just cannot stand her..how could someone who has wreck her face into plastic mattel barbie with mediocre voice can be that famous??!!
And then....Hirosue Ryoko (everybody has explained why..) , Matsu Takako..I don't find her beautiful although she has an ok voice and Morning Musume (although Aya Matsuura is ok).

You did?? Wow that's great!!! The lady mentioned 9-11 days but its only been 7 days if I'm not wrong..

Last time I sent something to Amika it reached in 2 days even though it was meant to be 4-5 days... Singapore Post really is darn effective ne..hehe
