I love him |
I think Shingo and Shah Rukh Khan are very alike. j/k

That used to be case about 15 years ago. Now they're as dirty as the West, but it's not so mainstream. I think kissing you can find in any movie, but going beyond that is still a lil' rare. They have the average "make out" scene now and again, but I guess it's still a lil' taboo. Bollywood is in the midst of breaking out of that mold.
And I think Shah Rukh should retire. _________________

LOL! I "think" the caste system isn't as important as it was in history (especially through colonialism). O'course, I can't be sure since I'm not Indian, but it seems that way in the larger cities, etc. Prolly changes when you head out towards the country. _________________

Of course not, but it wasn't really about the skin colour to begin with. That's a gross misinterpretation that seems to have forced itself to becoming a fake truth.
O, and ganmo, to add to my answer to your question. It's sorta like in Japanese dramas, how kissing wasn't very common until recently, and even now, for the most part (but no always), the kissing is heavily glorified.
I think Bollywood is a lil' more advanced than Japan when it comes to the physical aspect of love and affection being portrayed in films/dramas. _________________

I didn't mean to exlcude that industry, I was just referring to the more mainstream forms of entertainment available to the general public, like film and TV dramas. So yea, excluding the "adult" video. Keep in mind that India prolly has something similar, and if not in the form of film, they have a HUGE sex trade problem.
On a side note, I highly recommand ya'll watch Born into Brothels. _________________
