Okay, so I've already mentioned that SOS and kkk 2003 should be avoided like the plague. Well, you may now add Majo no Jouken to that list. The only good thing about that drama is Matsushima Nanako, and the fact that you actually start to feel for her character as the drama progresses. But the storyline and plot is so disturbing I felt dirty just watching it. A teacher who falls in love with a student is a really icky theme with me so I could barely stomach it. ESPECIALLY when they glorify their "first time" with each other. bleh

another couple Ueto Aya dramas to avoid....

Shimokita Sundays and Hotelier. Both are slow.....both aren't as entertaining as you might think.

I liked KKK 2003 though Wyn Sensei.

Hmm, who woulda thought that incest and student/teacher sex would be touchy subjects Bleah Makes you wonder what the writers/producers were thinking... I wonder why Nanako-chan would get involved in something like that? She's such a classy actress Crazy

Gomen, KT-Kun. I really tried to like it... but I just couldn't swallow the concept. I had no sympathy for either character.

Have you seen the drama? I can completely understand why she would, and she did a kick-ass job. It wasn't a "dirty" drama, it just made me feel dirty.

Is KKK 2003 that bad? Have you watched the 1993 version? I heard that one was better. Then again, seeing that you don't like the teacher-student type of relationships, that may not be to your liking either.

Nope, and I probably won't, after reading your review Smile Shame, because I really like Nanako-chan Sad

It wasn't so much the teacher/student problem (tho it's a factor, for sure) that really irked me. It was just the really bad storyline.

Just the situations were handled badly. Nothing was believable and you just don't "feel" for the characters, like you should. The 1993 prolly is better and I'll try to check it out, if I can find it.

I think it also depends heavily on the other cast members. I don't mind sitting through a j-pop idol film if the supporting cast is grand.

I don't care if the supporting cast is grand. I care more about the plot and if the story catches my attention. Case point being Slow Trance...I mean Dance. Good actors (I guess), but it's the most boring drama I've seen in a long time. U Suck
