I wanted to buy so many of them. They all looked so nice, but I didn't have enough money on me.

I am also watching 'Stand Up!!', got 'Yasashii Jikan' waiting for me as well, and downloading 'Minamikun no kobito'. Maybe I should have something like a Nino drama marathon!!
I've been looking for it, but I really can't find. If you find it, please tell me *puppy eyes*

hmm... :/
but I'm posting here anyway. Some may be a Ninomiya the ACTOR fan but don't care about flailings about Arashi or news on the rest of his band mates. I'll try to keep the visitors of this thread to keep on topic if that helps. Less about the idol but more on the actor.
I found an interesting translation from the MORE (not an idol magazine) about his thoughts on acting. Here's part 4 of the the long translation done by barbosa2007@livejournal where Nino talk about his creative writing streak.
Quote:
You can live whatever life you want through your imagination and dreams.
With regards to acting, I donft think itfs absolutely necessary to have gone through the same experiences or emotions as the person youfre portraying. I would think that for a girl who hasnft given birth, she would be able to understand the feelings of a mother, right? Whilst in life, you could return to a path youfve trodden on, in acting, itfs the actorfs job to walk in the path of someone hefs never known.
I donft think that itfs necessarily easier to act out a certain role just because youfve gone through the same experiences as that character. On the other hand, it would actually be more difficult for me. For a person whofs naturally smart from birth, it would be challenging for him to take on the role of a smart person. Well you see, they probably never thought about why they were so smart in the first place, right? I think a well-suited role would probably be diametrically opposite to the actorfs true essence. Itfs precisely because Ifm different from the person Ifm portraying that I can let my imagination run wild and think of endless possibilities.
Ifm a person who likes to daydream and fantasise. Thatfs why I find acting interesting. Itfs the same case whenever I write [stories]. When I was 18 and wanted to become a director, I told this to the management and they told me to try writing a storyc
So I wrote two stories, each with a motif fashioned after the Little Mermaid. The Little Mermaid tells the story of a mermaid who fell in love, and in order to pursue her beloved prince, paid the price of losing her senses gradually. In a bid to get her beloved to reciprocate her love, to just turn his face to her, she loses her senses. Sight, sense of hearing and taste went away one by one. In the end, when she thought that her lover had died, she cut her own body. By that time, her sense of touch had already been lost, so she could feel no pain. So in other words, although she badly wanted to die, she couldnft. Thus she lived on eternally in despair. Looking back, that was really surreal. I wonder why I wrote something like that. (laughs)
He'll make a good director. I would want to see his perspective as morbid as he did for the story "little mermaid".

Ninomiya Feels "Comfortable" with Chignon in his 1st Historical Drama
Arashi's member Kazunari Ninomiya, together with costars Kou Shibasaki, Kuranosuke Sasaki, and Hiroshi Tamaki attended the press conference of the movie "Ooku". The background of the movie is set in the Edo period with the positions of man and woman reversed.
Shibasaki, who will be playing the role of a female Shogun Tokugawa Yoshimune, revealed her aim: "Because my role is a queen, I will try to express a kind of resolute personality." As for Ninomiya, for whom it's the first time to play a role in the Jidaigeki (historical TV drama), commented on his own chignon appearance with a smile: "I think it fits me very well! It's quite comfortable." Another noteworthy feature is that Sasaki and Tamaki had thrown themselves completely into the performance of the love scene between guys in the movie. Tamaki said: "The love scene between Mr. Kuranosuke and me started on the first shooting day. I felt a little bit weird at the beginning because female and male were reversed in the story. However, it turned out to be very smooth and I was not worried at all." As to Sasaki, he gave the comment that "Maybe we have developed the empathy with each other. I am open to Tama-chan now." "Yeah, we are." agreed Tamaki, looking like "in love" with the partner. Hearing the conversation, Ninomiya was totally laughing out.
