that's good news, but i wonder how many ppls will watch during saturdays afternoon
seems to me like mediacorp just place the drama at that timing because there's free slot... |
At least it's better than nothing..
Now even E City CH 56 is showing Korean dramas and no new Japanese ones.. Like so damn irritating la.. _________________

Ya... I was like looking forward to what they are going to show after Hana Yori Dango and they ended up showing a KDrama. Quite pissed off. They used to have these specificed slots for J & K dramas and their repeats and the Jdrama slot is taken up by a korean drama. Only Rondo is available on E City now. Sad-ed.
Did u guys added animax for Music Station? I'm still considering whether to add that channel. |
And Rondo is a repeat.. WTH.. Not like there's a limited amount of Jdoramas. And I thought E City didn't have Kdramas before?
Hmm.. I don't even have the digital cable box.. Only the normal old one. So can't subscribe to Animax. But I think not that worth it for me cos' it's mostly anime on that channel which I don't normally watch and Music Station is only 1 hour a week.
If only they had a channel specifically for JDoramas. _________________

OMG yes. you wouldn't believe how long i've been willing mediacorp to broadcast nobuta wo produce on maintstream tv. The only jdramas they show here are only those that feature kimu taku. Come on, younger guys are "in" now too. We need fresher younger people on tv to bring the j-wave back! (i'm getting sick of the k-wave)
out of topic but somehow for some reason, hana kimi reminded me of nobuta wo produce.

Omg!! Hana Kimi!!! There's gonna be a japanese version with Oguri Shun and the girl from Nobuta wo Produce. That Nobuta girl. Forgot her real name. OMG OMG. But then again there's a really really low chance of it being on tv here. _________________

Thankfully for the internet, there's really no need to rely on the TV to solve my Jdorama addiction. |
*coughs* wu zun? *coughs even more* haha i think he's there just as an eyecandy ^^ a nice one too
haha yupp there's the wonderful youtube and crunchyroll.com (if you people haven't seen it pls go there! it's a jdorama heaven hahaha with high quality videos too! and you get the WHOLE episode at one go since there isn't some stupid 10 mins restriction ^^)

haha yup!! actually to tell you the truth.. the only reason why i'm having a hana kimi marathon now is just so that i can compare it to the japanese version it's just like hana yori dango, first taiwanese version, then japanese version but i must say i really enjoyed the japanese version much more.
shall see how it is with hana kimi. personally i think ella fits the role much better than maki horikita, and wuzun's a bigger eyecandy (IMO la. oguri shun's the type that wouldn't make you go whoaa at first but his charisma shows through his acting. wuzun's more mainstream though he can't exactly act ) Nevertheless, i have faith in jdramas!!
a mystery why the taiwanese version always emerges first although the drama's based on a JAPANESE manga.

oh my oh my . now it's wu zun v.s. oguri shun . wu zun's an eye candy , like you've said , but oguri shun's really good at acting . i have faith in jdoramas too . i love hana kimi , but i don't really like wu zun . but horikita maki as that role is unimaginable . i want nobuta wo produce on tv ! squinting my eyes at the small screen of crunchy roll makes my eyesight fail . the taiwanese version of hana yori dango can't compare up to the japanese one ! japanese dramas score . i'm wondering why taiwanese dramas come first too .
