Exactly, I understand that, but there isn't a way that he could send to some of his trustees (IP send, maybe) 3 or 4 and then he would move on to the next episodes, and his trustees would stay there for couple of hours helping spread for the rest.

If everybody would do this this whole mess wouldn't have happened!
And I'm telling you this; Jem isn't going to be the last one who's cutting of his bt sites! |
nah nah ur just trying to ne nice 2 me since you don't want me to kick ur butt on SVC chaos!!!...hahahhaha jk
anways this really is a sad situation...now i'm afraid i'm gonna have 2 learn irc....(i had a bad irc first experience....some people are so mean)
and i'm afraid i now i'll get less jdorama

btw: go and download Classic!!! One of the sadest movies I've ever seen (cried about 15 minutes!) *crybaby* |
Yes The Classic was a sad and very romantic movie. Happy and sad ending at the same time. This is how love should be like. I would also recommend ppl to see "A Man Who Went to Mars".

drakflame21's right. Look on the bright side of things. Once the public initial seeding starts... you have 4/5 seeds all at one go doing the seeding... you might be able to download faster than before

Ditto. It also seems to smack of moral supperiorty, which also burns my pancakes a litte.
The thing is, many of the Doramas out that are Engilsh subtitled can only be aquired through either fansubs or through copies off of TV. Sure there are *some* titles you can buy as well that have english subs, but they're few and far between.... And before someone gets on the "learn Japanese" trip, the fact is how realistic is that? I mean many people just don't have the time or want to bother to learn it, period. Or if someone has a learning disability, should they just be screwed?
The fact is that for many people the only way they can really have access to Dorama is through trade, download or mail distro. Short of moving to Hawaii or California, most of us are pretty much out of luck when it comes to this little hobbie. The one thing that can be said for it is this... it at leasts get Dorama out ther, and maybe one day we will see more commercial companies picking these titles up or putting them on DVD/VHS for the public. It's like with the Shoujo Romance / Slice of Life animes... How many years did it take for the companies out there to realize that this was a marketable genre? And the fact is if it hadn't been for Fansubs, and the fact they PROVED it was marketable, we wouldn't see the influx of things like Marmalade Boy, Peach Girl, adn Hana Yori Dango on the shelves today.

I agree.
Be realistic.. not everyone has access to dorama even if they wanted to buy them!
I've actually bought series while overseas on holidays.
Of cos, they are all in chinese with no english subs.. LOL..
I don't understand a single word when its in mandarin but I buy it to look anyway.
When I see a series with english subs, it's like mana from heaven!!
Especially when you live in a xenophobic country like Australia.. *sigh*

It is as much legal as all those pirated chinese dvds are.
The quality is worse though.
