Funny a few days ago a.d.clan released cheap love Ep.08, today they released Cheap Love Ep.10 (What happend to Ep.9?).
Anyway hurry up and get them!!

For the people that don't know jet, a.d.clan released Cheap Love Ep.9 (needs seeding though). A.d.clan has the complete series now (Eps.1-10).

I have problems entering Pelm's Bittorrent site!

Well it seems like the trend goes on, after Pelm, Jem is doing to be gone as well, at least what the bittorrent site considers!
But to be honest it is no surprise, there are leechers and there are fans.
The purpose of bittorrent is to share, to spread. This is one reason why this JDorama forum keeps growing, but things are getting complicated when people are being selfish!
That Jem and Pelm left the bittorrent scene is sad, but no drama for true fans, cause they are still available via IRC! : ( : ( : ( : (

oh no!!!!!!!!!! suckzor!!! Damn leechers! Well, I'm not one of them. After I've finished my download, I always keep the torrent open before I go to sleep (seeding for hours...usually the whole night) so others could d/l too. Oh well! I guess it's back to IRC for me

Those bastards... can't they leave their BT on after downloading? I always leave by BT on for hours or overnight after I have downloaded 100%. Damn ...

It is really sad to see Jem leave, but no one can blame him. He offered his kind service and so many assholes abused it. But I really hope that he will return. His BT site is great.

it is a taiwanese bit torrent site with people responsible enuf to be seeds
they upload really a lot of stuff (like 200 items a day or even more) so jap dramas could be few and far between... but be patient and scroll through the pages you might find some really good dramas....

I just read the news about jem only f-serving on irc, and it really upset me. I am a J-dorama junkie, and its largely responsible to bit torrent. I've tried to do irc but I can't figure it out, and finding j-drama on other clients are nearly impossible. I'm completely addicted to seikei bijin and romance (a k-drama) and now I'll probably never get to see the ending.

Do you think there's anything that we can do to get jem to change his mind?

I mean, there are a bunch of idiots out there who don't share, but there are also a lot of people who do. I know when I'm at school I leave the bt window open for a long time and go around reseeding things, and at home during the summers I do it for as long as possible (my internet sucks here compared to my school connection). I'm sure it must be frustrating for jem to see that the people who downloaded beautiful days 4 just left right afterward, which is obviously a down side to bt distribution, but I think its positive sides far outweigh that...

Does anyone know how we can get in touch with Jem to tell him how much we appreciate his efforts and bt site? It doesn't have a forum, so I'm not sure what places he frequents...

Well I think Jem knows that we appreciate his efforts and bt site, otherwise he would have stopped a long time ago!
The problem is that only a few people seed the new releases, everything else was going alright, if people needed seeds for "to heart" they got them or recently a couple of use guy in the Jdorama forum got together and started seeding "Yamato Nadeshiko" again, so I wouldn't say that the idea of sharing isn't working!
But it is a lot of work what Jem and all the other Jdrama releasers do, and if they see that only a few people are willing to spread jdrama and work for the community and not only for themselves well then it's back to the old hunting Jdramas with IRC!

So for me and for everybody else: don't asked yourself what is best for you, but asked your self what is best for the community

(It's really no big deal to leave your bittorrent windows open just for some hours or so, your computer isn't going to collapse )

Like what Yuubou said, I really hope that Jem would change his mind. Perhaps he is exhausted and needs a break. I really do hope that will come back.

You have to understand Jem's position. He captures, takes commercial out and encodes around 26 episodes of japanse, chinese and korean drama combined. Normally he would send to one indivudal after he finished and they would spread it around. THen when BT came along that was a much more effective way to more people without talking much more time.

But then people had to go and ruin it for everyone. Jem uses a modified BT client which allows him to send to 3-4 people only, so he sends to a small group, once his inital seed finishs he moves onto the next ep so they dont get backed up. Reacently right or very soopn after he stops his inital seed those that have finished have been closing their BT widows leaving everyone else unable to d/l until he comes back later. This wastes alot of time that Jem doesnt have and shouldnt have to worry about.
While it lasted BT was a great way for him to send to others but as of now its too much trouble for Jem to be able to use. Jem is also tryin to get the files spread out a little better than sending to jsut one person:

here at least a trusted group of people will get the files to serve and
share as they choose not only one.

Please dont go bothering Jem about gettin access to this channel as well, as you figure he is gettin bombarded everyone now, and he has basically already decided who is trustworty enough to allow access, others will be allowed in later.

There was also a long discussion on how different sysstems can be implemented with BT and BT trackers to give Jem and others in charge more control over who d/ls from them, and ban those that take advantage of the system. But all of that is for the long run and will take time to code/program and implement effectivly.

Hopefully this answers any questions that people have here. It's better ig you avoid goin directly to Jem asking lotsa questions because hes been hearing the same thing for hours now.

Frankly, i close my torrent downloads as soon as they are finished (not to mention proper capping). I even have an improved version which stops on its own. No lamer gets any of my bandwith this way. And i am sure most of you - so right and proper to commit these acts of crime - do the same. Just because you are discontent with upcoming restricted access to jem's torrents you express contempt to others and vow to continue so called 'sharing'.

The reality is that such behaviour is common and natural.
The system has fallen through because of lack of jem's capabitly to upload sufficiently. His original assumptions were wrong (as if anyone would really want to spare anything to help him) and now the hunt for guilty ones begins. But that all is simply jem's fault.

It all turned well. If you really want drama series - buy them (just avoid those chinese pirates).

u cheapscape!!! heheh jk actualy i think most of us true fans leave our window open for others 2 get...i know i do i leave it open over night and stuff.....sometimes when i see a file that has 0 seeds that i have, i open it up when i'm not using my comp....like when i go off 2 school i open up the torrent and leave my comp on....that's just the 'normal' thing to do dude


and if any1 is a leecher who closes their window right after the dl...then i hate you

I agree with lovelessemotion, it's really no big deal to leave your Bittorrent site open for the time you are not using your computer, like going to school, work, over night even if you just go out for a hour or so!
If everybody would do this this whole mess wouldn't have happened!
And I'm telling you this; Jem isn't going to be the last one who's cutting of his bt sites!

Well it seems the drama is not only on the files we download, it happens in all kinds of "scenes" out there. Been there seen that
In my opinion the bitorrent site was going smoothly. I think a good idea would be for him to send the files to those 3 or 4 trustworthy people, and then the file will spread from there. I've been following Jem site everyday, and the new files always have 30+ seeds in the first and second day, 8/9 in the following week. And I see that people are generous enough to seed when there are more than 7/8 people waiting. I helped seed the To Heart drama as well. :p

And I usually download at night leaving the whole night uploading when is done...

I hope the site continues....

The problem is when Jem seeds and ep and the fist 3-4 finished close their BT windows before they send to anyone else, then Jem has to start from basically the beginning of that seed and send to everyone else all over again, wasting lots of time sending when he needs to get the files sent out to make space for the next days encodes... this was a long sentence
