I've read the Nyokei Kazoku thread. It sounds like a jolly depressing story with so many schemy folks. It's nice that your TV station shows such doramas. We generally get the more popular ones (if any at all) or those that are 'guaranteed' to fare well by virtue of the artiste lineup.

Cool.
Can't wait to get my hands on it, subs or no.
Can't wait for Ep8! Seems like there's a power shift. Fall of the old and rise of the new. Sato Koichi isn't some simple hotel manager. Wonder what happens to Ryoko. Things don't look very favourable for her from the looks of the trailer.

It is to a large degree, yet I'm still watching it for various (obvious) reasons.
It'll be very disappointing if there's no payoff at the end, but we'll see...

Yeah, but I wish we had more. With English subtitles.

From what I gather, she's very manipulative in the movie, so she might be getting her just desserts.
Sadly, without a "trendy" cast, we may never see them.
guess the fansubbers didn't hang around to continue that series, as well as some other new ones...Rondo, 2nd House, and a few others, they left after subbing ep1...

Ryoko's life is threatened in Ep 8? She's hanging out alot with the policeman.

Yeah. Pity though. The plot is rather riveting and the cast is a rather heavyweight one.
I can help with the translation from Japanese to English if anyone's interested. I'm glad I understand Chinese (and a moderate amount of Japanese) so I get my weekly fix.

Hmm, this is like the third time she's been paired up (so to speak) with that actor: this drama, Kurokawa No Techo, and Sonagi...

Cool.
Hmm, to do the fansub, I would think you'd probably need a pretty dedicated number of people to get the task done.

Toru Nakamura!
I can't believe I felt sad for the old man, Kitou, in Ep8 despite all his despicable deeds. Looks like Ryoko is in for a tough ride for the next episode. I somehow can't banish the thought that she will most probably aim that short blade Kitou gave her at Sato Koichi's character.
Click on button to reveal/hide spoiler:
Sato Koichi's character Kotaki is an undercover (not a very scrupulous one). He's not a hotel manager but actually a special investigator who tackles corruption. Ryoko's secretary at Masquerade works for him. He's always kept Ryoko at arm's length even though any idiot can tell she's in love with him but now he's suddenly doing an about turn and acting affectionate towards her. Smells fishy.
sounds good...but we can hold off until we meet up for lunch, or i can mail it, when i feel better(ankle), i am still recovering, but getting better. I have your copy here.
