Although it's more of the editing (proof-reading). _________________

Whatever colour works. I got frustrated with it near the end. If nothing works, I'll just edit the pic by giving it a darker hue near the bottom like we've done with Kimuras. That way text will show. _________________

Are you using Photoshop?
For the text on my Juri-chan pic, I added the outline attribute to the text and then expanded and diffused the outline enough to allow the text to be readable...

Just the pic is photoshop'd. We can't use text for it. Text is applied as a layer on top of the photo on this site. It's kinda annoying that we have to do it this way. _________________

There's no rule that says you have to do it this way is there?
If so, why?
You can easily do the layering and all in Photoshop... Why have a separate process?

Yea, this is exactly why, I believe. The pic is a file that you upload. The text is inputed on the actual site.
Ooooooooh so B-san, is this why you were upset that I "edited" the feature for Juri? You thought I cut the text off? I always wondered. I didn't mean to. I had to. _________________

You can do that in Photoshop as well...

Yeah I know, but not once it's uploaded to the website. You have to re-edit the text in Photoshop and then re-upload. It's designed for those who don't have Photoshop - or the original Photoshop file

I don't remember.
If all the layering is done in Photoshop then one could take care of the text being lost in the image instead of what we have now...
Ehh, whatever.

It's not that easy. You then have the flatten the image each time, compress it each time, and upload it each time. Granted, all that takes only 5 minutes, but the way we have it now takes only seconds.
Yup. I don't write the rules. I just follow them. _________________

But it's only done once... Can't say that I've seen the pics or text ever change once they're up...
Oh well.

Honto?! I've changed a few...
Edit: O, but it's more along the process. Like finding spelling errors AFTER everything has been uploaded. _________________

I mean "Joe" isn't short for Joseph... |
His own website lists his name as 'Joe', though. But if you're going strictly Japanese, then Jô would be better. IMDB has it as the latter...

Hmm, that's odd that his own site would list "Joe"...
