I'm on my 4th episode right now and I guess since I watched the first one, it gave me a huge appetite, and I mean real HUGE. I'm actually surprised to see the guy who acted as Kennichiro - I forgot his name, acting as Kennichiro since I saw him very serious and unsmiling in Good Luck!. In this particular drama he's such a... dork and a troublemaker

He looks so innocent in this one, lol. Though I would rather have Eguchi/Youjiro so I could leave all the cooking to him and make him feed me all my life

Finished "Lunch Queen" yesterday - non-stop from about 1530 all the way to around 0200. It was exhausting, but well worth the effort.

I'm sure you are right, but I'm also sure Natsumi has put her ex behind her. When she left her home town after the incident 5-years ago she was running away, hurt by the betrayal. She picked herself up from a life of decadence (working as a club hostess) to start again, finding the rather unusual habit of scouting out lunch locations in the mean time. When she met her ex again and ran off with him, it wasn't really "with him" - more like trying to keep him away from the Kitchen Macaroni.

The romance situation is a bit more complex. The family is likely to fall apart whichever one she chooses. I think she considered marrying Yujiro because he was the more sensitive one - tough on the outside but fragile inside, and that he lost his love (Hidemi). However I think in the last episode when they went on the trip to Hakedote and Yujiro asked her to pick a boarding pass, she picked Junzaburo's. Nothing seemed to have happened after that because, I think, she wants to give more time to Yujiro to fix himself up mentally/emotionally. Eventually she would have married Junzaburo.

But then again this is pure speculation, more like wishful thinking, on my part. Yes, I do want Natsumi and Junzaburo to end up together. After all he was the one looking out for her right from the beginning.

i watched up to ep9 where SO stopped subbing for the moment. this drama made me really like yuko takeuchi (even tho i haven't even finished it yet). as well as the three bros and their father. i finally see how HOT the actor that plays the middle bro is.

i'm hoping natsumi chooses yu because she seems to be naturally drawn to him and it just seems like they should. i think she probably only considers jun because he's shown that he really likes her. so she knows for sure that jun likes her and doesn't know if yu likes her.

also wanted to say that koshiro (sp?) has some of the best lines, especially in ep2 and ep9. altho in general the whole drama.

another thing is that after finding out who the actor is that plays misaki's ex, he wasn't as scary as the they made him seem.

did u know that there will be a re-run of Lunch Queen in Jpn?

Yamapi, Yamada Takayuki and Misaki Itoh

When i explore more about Yamapi, i found that he quite often played in a drama with Yamada and Satoshi
