Nagasawa Masami to be featured in eIQUEENf for 2nd time
Click on button to reveal/hide spoiler:
Actress Nagasawa Masami will be featured in the eleventh volume of Plupfs popular high resolution digital photo series eIQUEENe.
She already appeared in the first volume, which was released in August 2011. It was around the same time she received a huge boost in popularity thanks to her role in eMotekie and the stage play eCrazy Honeye. Many things have changed since then in terms of her schedule, but you definitely cannot say the same about her beauty. As usual for eIQUEENf, they know how to emphasize on all the charms of the model, and this time, it was photographer Tajima Kazunari who was put in charge of the photo shoot.
They went with a ecool beautyf look again for Nagasawa, but she looks a bit more mature than before. Of course, therefs a lot of emphasize on her trademark beautiful legs and voluptuous body, but shefs also trying to enchant us with many different and unique expressions.
Nagasawa commented, gWhen I appeared in the last volume with the theme of fCHANGEf , I said that Ifm not changing. However, looking at the photos now, I can surely feel a bit of a difference compared to one year ago.h
eIQUEEN Vol. 11 Nagasawa Masamie will be released in four different versions, including a normal photo book (A4 size, 96 pages) and a special edition (B1 size, 16 double pages), which will go on sale on August 28th. The digital edition with a 4K resolution and 3D images will be released through the Playstation Store sometime in September. Moreover, there will be a Blu-ray edition slated for release on October 24th.
As a matter of fact, this volume will conclude the first season of the eIQUEENf series, which means that Nagasawa had the honor of being the first and the last model of the series. However, Plup already stated that eIQUEENf has received a lot of popularity during this one year and that they are definitely planning to return with a second season in the near future.
On September 3rd, Lotte revealed the new CM for their gGhana Milk Chocolateg, which will once again star the trio of Nagasawa Masami, Takei Emi, and child actress Watanabe Konomi.
The concept of the new CM is gfeeling connected, red chocolateh and therefore red is once again the main color of the new campaign.
In the CM the three of them are eating the chocolate at the same time, but itfs so delicious that git feels like their cheeks are going to fall off.h They try to use their hands to withstand the sensation, but they eventually embrace each other at their cheeks and say, gThis way, our cheeks wonft fall off~!h
Watanabe is right between the two actresses and looks so adorable that you have no choice but feel warm while watching this CM. She does look like an angel and played her role perfectly, but she still was a bit nervous before the filming.
Nagasawa talked a lot with her in order to ease her mind and always translated the explanations of the production staff into words that are easier to understand for the six year-old Watanabe. She seemed like a kind older sister throughout the whole filming. They also played catfs cradle together during the breaks and shared some snacks.
Takei had to film the CM on a different day due to her busy schedule and so she was only given some stand to know where to fix her eyes when shefs supposed to look at Watanabe. She looked at the stand and said in a sad tone, gKonomi-chan~!h The filming also progressed smoothly for her and she visibly enjoyed the chocolate. When she was given a red towel, she even suddenly started imitating Antonio Inoki, a former professional wrestler and mixed martial artist, and his well-known catchphrase.

Masami Nagasawa joins cast of John Woo's 'The Crossing'
Nagasawa Masami will participate in John Woo's upcoming two-parter "The Crossing". The film features an ensemble Asian cast headed by Tong Dawei, Zhang Ziyi, Huang Xiaoming, Song Hye-kyo, Kaneshiro Takeshi, and Nagasawa.
Production began earlier this month and the production team around Woo are still in the talks with many more actors. "The Crossing" is set against the upheavals of revolutionary China in 1949 and depicts the story of three couples from different backgrounds who make a fateful voyage on a ship fleeing China to Taiwan. The screenplay is written by Wang Huiling, who previously co-wrote "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" and who adapted "Lust Caution".
Nagasawa has already appeared in a Taiwanese drama, which is slated for broadcast this summer, but it's her first appearance in a foreign film. She was able to polish her language skills in the drama that was filmed entirely in Chinese, which eventually led to this casting offer according to her agency.
The foreign actors will join the production later this month. Filming is scheduled to take place in Beijing, Shanghai, Taiwan and other locations. Woo plans to release the first part of "The Crossing" in China at the end of 2014 and the second part in 2015. A Japanese release date has not been fixed yet.

Masami Nagasawa to star as Sho Sakurai's wife in FujiTV Special
Nagasawa Masami will be starring in the upcoming FujiTV drama SP "Kimi ni sasageru Emblem" which will be shown during New Year 2017. The drama SP features Sakurai Sho as the lead character Takajo Kazuya who is based on the life of Kyoya Kazuyuki, a former J-league soccer player who became a wheelchair basketball player after a traffic accident. Nagasawa will play Takajo's wife Nakagawa Miki who chooses to marry him despite his accident which took place just before their wedding and her parents' objections.
As this is the first time that Nagasawa is playing a wife with a disabled husband, she admitted that it was difficult to show the complicated feelings of her character. However, since she was a child, she had seen how people can be passionate about sports through her interaction with those working with her father Nagasawa Kazuaki who is a former national team soccer player and coach so she could identify with the feelings of the lead character. She was also impressed by how positive Takajo is even though he faces so many challenges and hopes that she will be able to manage the role of his wife. When asked about her impression of Sakurai who she is working with for the first time, Nagasawa praised him for being a person who doesn't give anyone pressure, is very tolerant towards others and seems able to do everything. As such, she could relax from the first day they started working together.
