Any Jin fans in Los Angeles? Or California? Well he's coming to Los Angeles to perform in concert. I happened to catch this article while reading a local paper this morning.

You're too considerate: I knew about it a while back and didn't even bother.
S'all good. I was obviously unaware of it. Since I brought the newspaper home with me it was no biggie to throw in the scanner and make a quick copy of the article.
Sometimes ppl here post about Japanese entertainment/pop culture events and the like that I would have otherwise not known about so I guess I'm just returning the favor.

as to someone who lives in the fandom of YamaP.........
gotta admit...JIN has got to be one of the most talented singer and dancer in JE....
not to mention his songwriting-composing skills are unsurpassed at JE... it's no wonder that Kitagawa funded such an avent for JIN here in LA ...
Jin - you must be turning heads, making dreams, breaking hearts all over LA - you go dude

Thank you for scanning the article! I'm one of those fans that's flying over to California for his concert this June (not to mention I'll be dragging my friends over with me hehe). I've always wanted to go to Cali, so it's like killing two birds with one stone. I'm super excited for his performance! _________________

Hmm... it's funny how he didn't mention any of that on his second concert on Sunday. But I'm happy to know that his debut was such a success that he'll be having more concerts in the future! I enjoyed his performance. Hopefully KAT-TUN will have a debut in the US as well someday _________________

You're welcome. I'm glad you had a good time at the concert (assuming you went to already)

I just saw this but it's still funny!
Thanks and at least we now know that he won't be in a Winter drama. Although I enjoyed watching him a little in Bandage, a movie where he plays a singer. But then again, if I had to play a Brussels marketing manager who loves food and drinksl, I'd nail it so well I would win an Oscar.

I saw your post via my iphone while I was at work and it totally made me happy!! --and awake, since I work nightshifts lol. Thank you so much for sharing! I honestly lost hope for him having any tour after that whole ordeal of him splitting from his group. But I'm glad he was able to pull through and pick up where he had left off before that _________________

Jin Akanishi signs global deal with Warner, U.S. releases planned for spring 2011
Thu, December 9, 2010
Back in October, former KAT-TUN member Jin Akanishi indicated his plans for a CD debut in the United States. On Thursday, those plans became much more tangible with Warner Music Group and Warner Music Japan's announcement that Akanishi has signed a recording deal with the label and his first U.S. release is expected in spring 2011.
During a press conference held at a Tokyo hotel on December 9, Warner's recently appointed CEO Lachie Rutherford said that Akanishi plans to release a single and then an album during the spring, under the name JIN AKANISHI. Warner will be handling not just the U.S. release; the company will be working with Akanishi on a global basis for both his English and Japanese works.
Last month, Akanishi successfully completed a 5-concert tour in the U.S. Now back in Japan, he will be preparing for three concerts at Saitama Super Arena on January 14-16 and three more concerts at Osaka-jo Hall on January 21-23. Those six shows are expected to bring in approximately 105,000 fans combined.
Akanishi is also planning for another U.S. tour after his album's release, though nothing definite has been announced yet.
