Just translated the movie: "How to Become Myself" (2007)

Kind of similar story to Nobuta, but less dark and the ending does not suck. Recommended for those who liked this series.

How popular was this movie when it came out? I liked Nobuta, but that might've been partly due to Horikita Maki Also, how was Narumi Riko's acting? I noticed she's pretty young and now she's got a lead role in Hachimitsu to Kuroba.

just started watching this series...i'm on ep5 now...

i think akira is more kawaii than shuji...actually, i find akira a bit annoying (his speech and body language) in the first few episodes but i started to like him later on...he's so cute when he did the "nobuta power" thingy in episode 4...so kawaii!!!!!!

am excited to watch the remaining episodes when i come home later...

waaahhhh...from the start till the very end...i loved akira kusano so much(yamapi) he was the comic relief but then he loved his friends so much...speaking of NOBUTA of course....


im really hooked with this drama...it has a strong plot and very interesting to watch...each episodes leaves me in crave for more...




does anyone knows what akira sang for nobuta in the scene where he was in school with shuji and he was like screaminghow he loved nobuta???its so kawaii!!!

I'm really hooked to this drama and have just finished it....

I was shocked at the ending part where the boys left the girl, but at least she learnt to smile again

Shuji and Akira were funny...

Lets hope that Kame and Yamashita can work together again for another drama... they're good as a double act...

this is one of my fav drama too! v touching and the frenship between the 3 leads are superb! haha! so glad to see the tread still alive. !

loved nobuta...at first i found it a tad boring and hated yamapi's character akira....he seemed so weird and drunk...however after a few episodes i completely fell in love with akira and now i'm a complete fan of yamapi....haha..after watching this, my cousins and i greet each other with kon kon and we love doing the nobuta power chuuyuu thingy

i might have another go with this drama.. the last time i watch it.. it was around 2006 and i really miss it.. so i might watch the whole drama again


and jenjen yeah i also like that part!! when kame saw pi again.. haha!! i was laughing so hard at that time!! honestly a was happy when the two of them are together again even though they have to leave nobuta behind

I have watched it a few times already and have always enjoyed it.
It's strange, because each time I discovered something new about the story/dialogue/characters. And there are still some parts I don't understand at all (particularly the ones with teachers).

My favourite episodes were 7-9. There were so many memorable moments...

hey hey, i think nobuta wo produce is a nice drama. at first i thought the story was narrow but as the story develops, the characters became very interesting as well :applaud:

hehe i think i'll watch it again just like Hana Yori Dango :dancing:

I've got to tell my friends to watch Nobuta, too!
