yea i figured that was what their convo was about but still... well eh yea i guess, if his car had pulled up just when he saw the sketchy dude pulling her in... who knows. lol. anyway i was getting a strange sense of deja vu when the guy got her to go in there and they started harassing her.. i was like wait... no... everythings in the wrong place, this was supposed to happen before dom got beaten up... but oh well... the HYD producers really know how to stick to the storyline withOUT sticking to the storyline..

I have yet to write a "proper essay" for this episode which I will get around to eventually, because it's the law, or something... But y'know I think HYD and the Power Rangers have more in common than we think

I mean check out Rui and his rather random fighting skills (I've never thought of Rui as a fighter, a sleeper maybe, but not a fighter). That kick totally looked like it could have killed a putty patrol. It was really, really weird to see Rui kick as cuz I think of his as being so lethargic, that him moving around so quickly seemed unnatural.
The end is near! and i don't know what to think!
OK anyone else think that Jun's behavior during the little "prize giveaway" announcement at the end of the ep was hilairous? He kept making the manga (I think it was a manga, it looked like a bok of some sort) and the cd "dance". He is such a nerd.
I have mix feelings for this episode!! I kind of liked it, but I also kind of mad about it!!!

like everyone else... MAKINO FREAKING HUG HIM DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! seriosuly I would glady do it for you!!!!!! This episode was really surprising!! everyone thought they would kiss and domuyouji was suppose to ask her to marry him?? but none of that happened!! and they added the TOJ part. what a surprise! and why the hell is domuyouji getting kidnapped? i don't even remember him getting kiddnap in the manga... except the part when they wanted to knock makino and doumyouji together!! now i really dunno what to except!! its so sad that its ending! i want to see more of jun!!~
I am not that sad about cutting lots of parts... cause sometimes i just imagine it in my head how it would be like. then it will always be perfect lol

Ep.8 didn't made my DAY!! Probably I shouldn't have read the spoilers for Ep.8 so SOON because when I saw that there ain't a KISSING scene in Ep.8. I know Ep.8 is not worth it to appreciate how GOOD it is. Another is I'm SAD that it wasn't Jun saying that Chinese sentence, I swear it was him saying it when I first watched it. However, the guy who narrated Jun's Chinese sentence really had the same voice as Jerry in MG. I don't know why!!
Don't hit me but I don't think Makino really loves Dom at this point. She's touched by the things he did for her. Can't this be like Korean drama or something when the couple admitted to each other that they LOVE EACH other so much in front of their parents for them to let them be TOGETHER??? You know what I'm talking about. I really hate those undecisive girls on how they can't really DECIDE who they real LOVE!!
It will take a MIRACLE to make Makino say that she loves DOM and can't live without him!! Are you sure they can do that in Ep.9? I doubt it!!

Oh, for heaven's sake. May I make a suggestion? How about we all take turns strangling Domyoji's mother? That woman takes things to the extreme! She's insane! Even her own personal servant admitted to being afraid of her sometimes. How awful.
Anyway, to answer some of roaceica's questions:
Makino will be entering the only-once-in-three-years-TOJ for two reasons, and you got them! Firstly, the cash prize amounts to exactly how much Makino will need to pay off her father's debts. Secondly, if Makino wins this contest, she can possibly gain Domyoji-Babaa's approval... Why? Because she herself has won the first contest! I should mention Tsubaki was also a past winner (Past winners are allowed to recommend candidates, so she chose Makino. In turn, Domyoji-babaa [Domyoji's mother] sends in a recommendation for Kurimaki Ayano - Domyoji's fiancee! AHHH!). I can not answer the question as to why Domyoji was kidnapped, or by whom, because I do not know how the original story goes... I will leave it to those who have read the manga.
By the way... at the beginning, when Domyoji was waiting for Makino at the Domyoji tower Heliport, he actually wanted to show her the planet of Saturn. Why? Later in the dorama, when F4 is sitting at the school caf, Domyoji tells the others how he and Makino are meant-to-be because they are both doseijin (Saturn people... Saturn-ites? There is no such thing, lol. Akira and Soujiro were like... "Is your head okay? We are humans! There are no Saturn-people, Tsukasa!" Hahah). And to the confused two, Rui explained that according to his astronomic horoscope book, both Tsukasa and Makino are Saturns, and then he mentioned that when he told Tsukasa about it he got so happy (that's cute). Well anyway, to finally get to roaceica's first question... Here is a rough translation of Tsukasa and Makino's conversation:
D: You stood me up last time. I waited all night.
M: But...
D: I was going to show you Saturn ("dosei").
M: ...Saturn?
D: Yeah, Saturn.
M: And you waited all night for that?
D: Me and you are Saturnites.
M: What's that?
D: *stands up* I think... it's around there (Saturn). *points toward the sky*
(Hearing no response from Makino, he turns around and looks at her. [I think this is the part roaceica was asking about] She's just looking down, drowning in her miseries, not really wanting to listen to Domyoji's random talk. D: *starts to walk away* Do you regret it?
M: No... I'm a little scared, but I don't ever want to lose...
D: *turns to her* No matter what, I'll always be on your side. No matter what happens, I will protect you... And your family, too.
M: *smiles*
D: *sits back down* Starting with the debt. How much is it?
M: Seems like... around 5,000,000 yen...
D: Alright, I'll take care of that.
M: What? No! You can't do that.
D: Why?
M: It's like getting the money from your mother. I think that's wrong.
D: ...I guess, but what're you actually gonna do?
M: I'll try hard and find a job.
D: Well... How about we just get married?
M: Eh?!
D: Don't you think it's a nice idol? ("idea", Domyoji, "idea"...)
M: What are you talking about...
D: I bit it just now... (a phrase in Japan.. "kamu" literally means to bite, but "kanda" is a way to say you bit your tongue)

I wonder have they filmed the ending yet, if they had I might take a CHANCE to stop them before they broadcast on TV. I might make a HUGE SIGN saying "Give me a SIZZLING KISS!! If not, I'll try to rewrite that episode AGAIN"!!!

UGHHHHHHHH!! Why why why why why why why why why why WHY can't Tsukushi understand that Doumyouji loves her after all of the things he's done for her?!?!! Yuri-chan, after reading your translation and understanding that scene, I broke down into tears (lol, sorry about the over-sentiment), but I feel so bad for Doumyouji to be pushed aside by her everytime. Even when he simply asks her to meet him. I mean, is it so hard to meet up with a guy that is so in love with her to the point that he'd do anything for her no matter how much he puts at risk? Sometimes I can't even help but scream in my head crying BAKA since Makino is so fickle. u_u uhuu.. Doumyouji gets satisfaction just from her presence and she doesn't even give him a mere hug in that scene. jfkldajfda It's not fair for Doumyouji! :[
