I figured you were up to something when we didn't get the usual Halloween posts.

Surfing the web, while The Godfather Part II plays on the TV. I've never actually watched that movie, though I've been wanting to.

Waiting on the dog to get back from the vet. Thought she needed emergency surgery for a ruptured hernia, but it hasn't ruptured. Surgery next week.

Just got back from Oshogatsu in Little Tokyo. While there, stopped in at Kinokuniya and picked up the guide book for this year's taiga, "Onna Joushou Naotora".

Kou is on the cover giving it her best, "Better watch my taiga or I'm gonna kick your ass" look:https://www.kinokuniya.co.jp/images/goods/ar2/web/imgdata2/large/41492/4149233748.jpg

The only question now is will they show it here locally? Fingers crossed

A new Memorial Day tradition:

Watching Godzilla vs. Mothra, followed by

Godzilla vs. Destroyah, and finally,

Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla.

Tokyo won't know what hit it.

Not doing it right now, but spent yesterday at DMV getting drivers license renewed.

DMV is like an airport or bus station, a good place for people observation. There was a woman that looked just like Henry Fonda, a guy with a spiky mohawk, we wondered what his drivers license picture will look like, and a guy that when his number was called, went to the wrong window, twice. That guy's probably out driving around right now. Sweat

Watching a marathon of the show "Square Pegs" from the '80s.

Pretty accurate. They've done a good job of reminding me why I hated high school. Although "Freaks and Geeks" might have been even closer.

Watching "Moscow on the Hudson". Just the first 15 or 20 minutes when they're still in Russia. Want to have some idea of what America will look like in a few years.
