I asked some people in my company if they heard of that 'lava certificate' that you were inquiring about.
No one here heard of it. I can double check with some of my lender friends, however.

seems like something very difficult to do, mapping lava flow plains... as they would change a bit after each eruption...

Hey that reminds me.. I forgot about the volcano in Hawaii.. I remember when I was around 7 years old a helicopter flew over the top of it and you could see all the red lava.

Well, i dont know what you could there on the islands... i mean you dont have Wilshire blvd and a Subway going under Beverly Hills to direct the lava to a safe place. hehe
