Mimura, Seikyo Kim divorce
Posted on October 8, 2010 by tokyograph
After nearly four years of marriage, actress Mimura (26) and orchestra conductor Seikyo Kim (40) have separated. They submitted their divorce papers this week.
The two appeared together in the 2005 movie gKono Mune Ippai no Ai woh and began dating a few months later. They tied the knot in November 2006. However, due to their work commitments, they began to grow apart and ultimately decided that it would be better to separate. Because the decision was mutual, neither side is seeking alimony.
As a conductor, Kim has earned recognition internationally. Last November, he did a guest performance with the Flanders Symphony Orchestra in Belgium. He was later offered the position of Principal Conductor for the orchestra, which he took on last month. Starting next month, he plans to make two-week stays in Belgium about 4 or 5 times a year.
A source says that talk of divorce began in early spring of this year, shortly after it was decided that Kim would be going to Belgium.
Mimura has also been busy as an actress, particularly within the last year. She had roles in three television series in 2009, and she has been cast in NHKfs 2011 taiga drama gGou ~Himetachi no Sengoku~.h Currently, she appears in commercials for four different companies.

Do we have this one already? Oda Yuji (it's his B-day today) and his mysterious bride who turned out to be Noda Maiko. Married August 16, 2010.
This is one marriage that raised eyebrows. It's no secret that Oda Yuji is gay, so many people regard this marriage as what they call in Japan "camouflage marriage." When I moved to the Castro District in San Francisco some years ago and my landlord saw I have a Japanese last name, he told me some famous Japanese actor bought a house down the street. Turned out, it was Oda Yuji. Someone else told me he lived there for awhile with Kubota Toshinobu, the guy who sings La La La Love Song in Long Vacation.
Happy B-day, Yuji. _________________

Takaoka Sousuke confirms divorce from Miyazaki Aoi
After tabloid magazine Shukan Josei reported that actor Takaoka Sousuke and actress Miyazaki Aoi were currently living apart and heading towards divorce, Takaoka himself confirmed that the couple plans to split soon.
During the December 21st broadcast of TV Asahifs gJouhou Mansai Live Show Morning Bird!g, the actor stated that the divorce is not yet complete, but that he thinks it will probably end sometime next year.
When asked about the reasons for their divorce, Takaokafs Twitter outburst from July was brought up. gI was told Ifd said some etaboof things, but I didnft know what taboo meant. I didnft think it would become such a huge problem up until now,h he commented. As a result of the incident and its repercussions – such as the loss of his lead role in gQPh – the relationship between Takaoka and his wife Miyazaki began to deteriorate. Takaoka himself revealed that when he returned from New York in August, the couple began living separately.
The two have known each other since they were in their teens and finally married in June of 2007. Although their four-year marriage seems to be ending, Takaoka spoke very positively of Miyazaki Aoi and revealed his concern for her. gWefre grateful for one another, shefs told me that as well,h he commented. g(Miyazaki) really is a nice girl. Shefs so pure, and she supporting me with everything she had for ten years. I wouldnft trade those precious feelings [for anything].h
Stay tuned for more about Takaoka Sousuke and Miyazaki Aoifs upcoming divorce.

Will they? (the divorce, I mean)
From tokyohive:
Miyazaki Aoi & Takaoka Sosuke are no longer living together?!
by HPriest on October 20, 2011
After much speculation and silent denials, weekly tabloid magazine eFRIDAYe eventually reported that actress Miyazaki Aoi and actor Takaoka Sosuke have stopped living together since last month.
Miyazaki and Takaoka married back in June of 2007, and it seems like the married couple is facing their biggest crisis with eFRIDAYf providing proof in forms of photos, that they have stopped living together. The said photos indicate that Miyazaki is currently living in an apartment somewhere around the Tokyo Metropolitan area, while Takaoka has rented himself an apartment in Setagaya, Tokyo.
Is this the sign of an impending divorce? Sanspo contacted Takaokafs new agency, the one he started after his Twitter scandal, and they decided to refuse to make any comments about his private life instead of flatly denying the rumor. According to other officials within the industry, it sounds like Miyazaki eventually reached the end of her patience and left their apartment first.
Due to those circumstances, it seems unlikely that they are going to reconcile. Most people expect that Miyazaki is finally going to push for a divorce sooner or later. Obviously her agency also refused to make any comments, but recently the actress was seen more often without her wedding ring.
Miyazaki is going to attend a screening of her latest movie gTsure ga Utsu ni Narimashite.g, which ironically portrays the deep bonds between a married couple, on October 21st. Reporters will be pretty eager to entice her to make a comment regarding her own married life at this event.
Tokyohive will continue to keep you updated about the relationship status of this couple.

I know Oda Yuji was married.
But I have never seen his wife.
Thanks BuyMeThisDress for the pic.
I guess you can add Oda's (previous?) partner to the "camouflage marriage" list.
According to Japan Zone, Kubota Toshinobu was married to an employee of a Norwegian company. Back in 2004 they were already expecting a baby.
Suddenly I feel sorry for Oda and Kubota's wives.
New York-based R & B singer Kubota Toshinobu (42) this week married a 31-year old employee of a Norwegian company. The couple have been going out since Ms. A moved to N.Y. as a student five years ago. She is expecting a baby in December. Earlier this month, Kubota became the first Japanese artist in 24 years to record an appearance on "Soul Train." He moved to the U.S. in 1989 and made his debut there in 1995. He has released three albums there so far. The most recent, "Time to Share" was released just last month. His biggest hit to date was the 1996 single "La La La, Love Song," which sold over 2 million copies in Japan.
