Shukan Gendai recently reported rumours of tension on the set caused by Shibasaki Kou's surly behaviour. She has been curt towards co-star Fukuyama Masaharu, but he has taken it good-naturedly. Moreover, not accustomed to waking early for rehearsals, she had rubbed her fellow cast members the wrong way with her bleary eyes and sluggish manner. A tense atmosphere pervades the set during shoots. With regard to her disrespectful demeanour, crew members have coined the phrase "especially blue days" and learnt to avoid her when they see her in a bad mood. They just hope that the production will be completed without a hitch.
Shibasaki is lucky to have a gentleman, Masha as co-star, or else she may have gotten a dose of her own medicine. ive read abt her bad attitude before, that she hated drama shootings because they're too time consuming.

Utsumi Kaoru, North Kaizuka Police Precinct's new detective comes to Assistant Professor Yukawa Manabu's office at Teito University's Physics Department. The press conference for Galileo, which premieres next Monday, 15 October at 9.00 p.m. Fuji TV (10 episodes), was held in Tokyo on 9 October. This drama is a screen adaptation of Higashino Keigo's short novels, Tantei Galileo and Yochimu. In the drama, Fukuyama Masaharu, who returns to the screens after four years, plays the genius physicist and assistant university professor, Yukawa Manabu. Yukawa solves difficult paranormal cases that the police approach him with. His partner, Utsumi Kaoru, played by Shibasaki Kou in her first role as a police detective, is a character that doesn't appear in the original work. Asked if there would be any romantic development between the two characters, Fukuyama said, "It's a relationship in which friendship and trust come first. If I were female, I won't like Yukawa." "I'd dislike it if such a noisy female is around," Shibasaki said. How the drama will progress is "a secret" Director Nishitani indicated.
