Haha just like how Microsoft came out with that U shaped keyboard to prevent CTS. I wonder what they would do to chopsticks
Microsoft would probably keep the design of the chopstick the same, and instead blame the problem on the design and engineering of the human hand. If your right hand becomes non-functional, then switch to the left hand, and perform the same technique. You software/hardware engineers can relate to this joke.

Yeah, that way they can avoid any lengthy lawsuits. _________________

360 miles per hour! That's almost as fast as a Zero fighter plane, and about 200 times as fast as the L train that runs across 14th street in lower Manhattan.
Umm...still at a test level. Takes at least a half decade if not a decade to enter commercial use. Just for a status reason, the french train, TGV, is faster in commercial use. The shinkansen is fast enough, wish I could ride on the train someday, hehe.

I rode the shinkansen from Kyoto back to Tokyo. My ears popped in it It was pretty fast but I could see stuff still. While I was on it, it was raining outside and the rain would run up the side and evaporate kinda, I guess, because there was barely any water on the windows Mine was Hikari.
Random but interesting fact: While I was living in Japan this summer, they began hiring a couple women as shinkansen operators. Normally only men were shinkansen operators, but now there are a few women as of this summer. Neat, huh?

You ain't seen nothin' yet! In LA there's a sushi restaurant with all female sushi chefs (Sushi Mac on Sawtelle Blvd.).
There was another place with a white guy making sushi. I liked him but he quit.
Women are moving up in Japan. Kyoko Hamaguchi is a three-time world freestyle wrestling champion and a gold medal candidate for the Athens Olympics. When she trains she often wrestles men. But I have to admit, she does look real butch. I've seen her do biceps curls with 30 kg (66 lbs.) dumbbells and rows with 60 kg dumbbells (130 lbs.)

Hey Golgo,
You know Kyoko trains with men because of her father, Heigo "Animal" Hamaguchi, right? The pro-wrestler who was one of the top enforcers of the game. I believe he also wrestled in the Olympics in 1968 (he turned pro the following year).
Here in the Northeast we have Acela but despite its design, it's only ONE hour faster than a regular Metroliner Amtrak train from Beantown to the Capitol, because they're running on essentially the same track. Had they made a separate track like the Shinkansen maybe it would've been better.
My mom has immigrated to Spain last month (we're getting the hell out, for obvious reasons), so hopefully I'll get a chance to go and test the AVE someday.

Yes, I knew about the Hamaguchi family. I saw a documentary on them on a Japanese show called "Zone". They have a son who is preparing to become a pro-wrestler.

What? Out of the U.S.? Why, what happened?
Speaking of Spain, in the same show "Zone", they showed a japanese guy who went to Spain to become a matador. He's actually performing in major events. I forgot his name.

Wasn't if France as well that had the "fastest" escalator? Those suckers were fast!
-I seen it on T.V. once, but I forgot the details. All I remember is seeing people fall down when riding it.

Maybe when he rises in the ranks, HOLA! magazine will talk about him.

The Shinkansen isn't all that fast. I think they top out at 300km/h. Still, it's the fastest way to get around in Japan. Never really took the Nozomi, cause it's always more expensive and you never really save much time over the Hikari. I wish they had Shinkansen in Kyuushuu, cause the trains there are slooooow. The only Shinkansen stop is at Hakata.

That's where you're wrong dude. They just hit 581 km/h yesterday. They want commuters to be able to travel from Osaka to Tokyo in 1 hr.

ONE HOUR? Holy crap. My ears popped on the Hikari although it didn't seem to be all that fast when looking out the window because I could still see things clearly. That ride was 2.5 - 3 hours from Kyoto back to Tokyo. Whenever they have the trains able to go that fast......imagine how expensive that'll be!! I paid 11,000 yen for that shinkansen ride and that was through a special deal (this was the day after Gion Matsuri, so a lot of people were trying to get tix).
I know it'll eventually happen if not already, but I just can't imagine getting from Kyoto - Tokyo (or vice versa) in 1 hour, lol! It's hard to picture. To get to Kyoto I took JR Dream Bus and it took 8 hours! So up to 3 hours on shinkansen was paradise....seriously.
