As previously reported, it is a live-action drama adaptation of Mizushiro Setona's popular manga of the same name.
The protagonist "Koyurugi Sota" (Matsumoto) is a student at a confectionary school. He has been in love with a girl one year older than him, named "Saeko", who Sota fell in love at first sight with when he was in high school.

As there is no dedicated page for Satomi Ishihara that update her works regularly, I would like to devote some of my time to fill this void. _________________

Satomi Ishihara to star in NTV Autumn 2016 drama
Ishihara Satomi will be starring in the new NTV Autumn 2016 drama "Jimi ni sugoi! Kouetsu Girl Kouno Etsuko" (Plain but cool! Proofreading Girl Kouno Etsuko) which will begin its run from October in the Wednesdays 10pm timeslot. The drama which is based on the "Kouetsu Girl" novel series by Miyagi Ayako, features Ishihara as the heroine Kouno Etsuko who aspires to be an editor at a fashion magazine thus applies to join a publishing company but is assigned to join the proofreading department. While having to do proofreading which comes across as plain and boring, she immerses herself fully into the world of the novels she proofreads and meets up with the authors directly to get a better understanding of their works. She even goes to the crime scenes to verify the truth behind the cases reported by her company's weekly magazine where she will highlight discrepancies to the writers and get them to make amendments.
Ishihara said that as she had been a fan of workplace dramas such as "Haken no Hinkaku" and "Hatarakiman" which were shown in the same timeslot, she is happy to be able to act in this drama. Especially since her interviews had been published in various magazines and newspapers to date, she feels that the job of a proofreader is somewhat close at heart to her and hopes to be able to bring attention to this occupation which may have been hardly noticed to date.
