hmmm In my opinion she`s OK! nothing great... in her age group I definatley think someone like Ichikawa Yui is more appealing. Don`t get me wrong, Saitomi is CUTE, but how long does cute last? When she starts getting older it`ll fade away quicker than the sexyness of a F-4 when comapres to the F/A-18.
Basically, Someone like her is popular now, but how long will her looks and cuteness last? as for soemone like, Ichikawa yui who is very beautiful and cute, the Beautiful tends to last longer.... I forsee in the future, that Ichikawa yui will be the next Itoh Misaki, who is herself, a true hotness of the hotties).
But i can`t deny the fact now that Saitomi is cute! i hope it lasts a long time! she`s got a nice innocent smile!

hmm.....good question. How long will does cuteness last?
To me...I think once she hits her 20s she'll be more on the beautiful side. Like Ueto Aya. Thats what I see.

BTW...in purely shallow terms, Yoshitsune's character is a dumbass. If I had someone like her hanging around the house, I'd never leave it. _________________

I havent see her in Yoshitsune, Im looking for that dorama right now...

I'd pick Satomi over Yui
hehe, well it'll be something to see, how far she gets when she hits her 20's!
She might experience the success Ayase Haruka is having right now, in her early 20's. I still say it remains to be seen but we'll see! btw, Ayase Haruka is more hotness, I'd choose Haruka over Saitomi anyday also!
As for Ueto Aya she still has that cuteness and hasn't developped into a "beauty" yet I would say... alot of her roles are still the young "schoolgirl" roles, as are the roles with Saitomi. until they grow out of those roles I think its too early to say if they are truly beauties... once they refrain from being school girls and can begin starring in "woman" roles then it'll be time to see their beauty if it so applies during that young adult period in their acting careers.
But don't get me wrong, I support her, I'm always encouraging more japanese female hotness on the screen, but just I'm saying its too early to say if shes a true beauty! we gotta watch her develop and see in which direction she goes...

hello all new to jdorama and nice to meet you all_!!!
finally saw a topic about satomi-chan. i have alot of pix of her after i get my hosting working i'll be able to post em on here. I have family in japan and I go there a few times a year and last time when i was there in Tokyo she had a meet with the fan event which was awsome i got to see her in real life (LUCKY_!!!) she was taking photos with fans etc... there was alot of people i missed out on the photo
she is in a few TVshows and CM as well for those who don't know (oh ishihara satomi is not her real name, think was ishigami kuniko:)) i'll try to get yous some link for it soon ish i had a few good CM and video of her thanks to the people who shared the pix above they are all VERY NICE_!!! i have a link here dono if you guys has seen it or not here goes, http://ads.3yen.com/2005-03-04/ishihara-satomis-pocky-story/

dozo yoroshiku qilver-SAN, i don't speak it fully anyway my mother is japanese my father's chinese and i grew up in japan china australia and us so am all over the place speak english better then anything else
