I've been helping my friend in technical aspects for his corporate gifts company and found several interesting options for a corporate gift there. There were some like giving caricatures and wine to business associates. Unique.. I think!

There was once I saw a shop doing cute clay models of people. All you need to do is give them a photo and they'll have it done in a week. Lost that contact though.

Anyone received some really unique and cool gifts that you'd like to share with us? Could be anything from a freebie you received on the streets, to a personal gift from friends.

This is sad: I can't think of anything that I've received as a gift that was cool or unique.

I consider every gift from everyone to be a cool gift But actually, my friends and relatives have always given me stuff I liked

One gift I got kinda stuck in my mind though. It may sound like nothing to some people. One year at Xmas my friend was BROKE. I mean completely broke. She had a hard time. Usually with my friends, if we're broke we'll just agree not to exchange gifts for Xmas and it's cool. We usually make up for it at birthdays.

Anyway, my friend would not accept that and insisted on finding a way to give gifts to people although she couldn't afford to buy anything. So she baked us all cookies fromt scratch and used tins she had in the house to put them in. She decorated everything elaborately and gave them to us. It was so nice!

Now that you've mentioned it, I've given pencil portraits of my colleagues as presents before I left my previous job. Took damn long to prepare, costs nothing much, but think such gifts would be much more appreciated.

back in 1998 I got a Sony Camcorder which I still use to this day, but it's a bit old now.. and wear is taking it's toll.. but it was $1400 back in 98..

I'd have to say my Subaru is my biggest give i have been given.

I think homemade picture frames can be really cool. My wife loves to decorates frames with things that represent the person it is going to. Nice personal touch.

Anyone found or located any place that does realistic clay models for you? I remember that they had a website, but can't seem to locate it now.

Looks cool! But wasn't exactly what I was looking for. The one I saw, manages to mould the face to look very much alike to your face. Just like a 3D caricature.

Yup, I have, with very good success.

Some of the stuff is in English, if you click on the "View in English" button...

Their shipping rates are outrageous, but typical for Japan: I'd try to find it from YesAsia first, since they offer free shipping.
