just watched Night at the Museum (Ben Stiller) it was ok..
They announced on the NYC news that this one movie has more than doubled the regular attendance at The Museum of Natural History in Manhattan. So it is making some folks very happy.

Mrs A.D. is a romantic comedy fanatic..... she just loves that kind of thing. She loved The Holiday too, enough to see it twice. (best part of The Holiday: Kate Winslet ) She's not a fan of fantasy / sci-fi (except Harry Potter) or action movies though.

I love Kate Winslet as well! She was grand in Finding Neverland, and of course she played opposite the love of my life. I like romantic comedies as well, but I also adore sci-fi/fantasy films. I love all types of films actually... but then, I'm easily entertained/amused.
I could hang out at the movies with Mrs A.D. and Wynter anytime. I loves me some romantic comedies. Or romantic tragedies. Especially the British ones. I agree Kate Winslet in Finding Neverland with JD was superb. If you haven't seen that movie and want to see some really fine acting by everyone in the cast check it out on DVD.

You don't know who Kenny Bania is?
I'm sure it is a Seinfeld reference but sorry I don't remember who he is.

All grand picks! Tho I haven't seen Crossing Delancey. Mebbe I'll look it up for V-Day! Love Actually is a brilliant film!
Another Kate Winslet film I adored was Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Possibly one of my fav films of all time!
Hmm I never saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I gotta check it out. Thanks Wyn-chan. Crossing Delancey was filmed in 1988 in NYC, but I just love the time period fashions, hairstyles and the Grandmother. How can you not love the Bubbie?

I get the Kenny Bania reference I have the first three seasons of Seinfeld on DVD (sofar)! Kenny is Jerry's unfunny comedian "friend".
Love Actually is another of Mrs A.D.'s favourites. I really liked it too..
Sleepless in Seattle is another. It was on TV last week
Oh yeah I remember Kenny Bania. Thanks A.D.! What has he got to do with romantic movies?
One of my favorite scenes in Love Actually is when we first see the face of the little girl who is singing All I Want For Christmas is You. No wonder that little boy had such a crush on her.
I almost forgot one of my favorite romantic movies for Valentine's Day is Serendipity with John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale.

Please do! It's probably the best love story I've ever seen, but of course, you don't realize this until the movie is done, and you're sitting there like... "whoa, that was powerful".
