The site was unavailable for a few hours today due to the bandwidth exceeding the limit (250GB). I've upped the limit to 300GB and have agreed to $25/month for that. Thanks to Ruroshin! With some calculations... with 250GB usage per month, assuming we have 31 days, 25010241024*1024/31/24/60/60, we're going at 100kB/s. With the new limit, we can handle about 120kB/s. Noted that alot of sites hotlink images off JDorama.com in their blogs, in other forums, etc. I haven't compiled statistics to determine whether they constitute significant usage though... _________________ @_@ <--- webmaster?

Does posting a lot of pictures and files contribute to the excess usage of bandwidth? If so... I better not post as much files anymore. Sorry.

No. The files are hosted on other servers, and should not affect us. It may affect if you're posting files on other forums, and using pictures from jdorama.com's drama/artiste pages. _________________ @_@ <--- webmaster?

Oh ok, then I have no problem with that. I don't direct link pictures from websites. That's an awful thing to do.

I have seen viruses and/or hackers take over a server: that happened to our server several years ago... bleh
