My favourite dorama will be...
1)Love Generation
2)To Heart
3)Strawberry on the Short Cake
4)Under the same roof I and II <--- though not really new, but it's really heart warming.
5)GTO

Hi there,
Julus is short for Julia =) Glad to know that you enjoyed the first two episodes of Aoi Tori, but if you are the conservative type, you might not like the ending too much.
ooh yes!! I think you should buy Love Story, don't expect too much love scene though. But Etsushi Toyokawa is very natural in this movie, and quite humourous, which is quite rare.
YOU should get this drama.
By the way, did you watch 'Aishiteiru to itte kure'? if you have not, you should also watch it ... made me cry every time I watch.

Ahh!!!!!! Finally, someone who watched and remembers Hatachi no Yakusoku!!!!!! u know, i have been trying to find the drama for so long!! cldn't forget it after watching it in p5/6... i don't know if there is ANY way I can ever rewatch this drama again. howww??!!!
I'm new to this forum, but I've been a j-drama fan for a long time^_^.
Anyways, I would have to say my top 5 (from a LONG list) are:
Koori no Seikai
Ikebukuro West Gate Park
GTO
Aishiteiru to Itte Kure
Ring Saishusho
(not in any particular order)
Nagase Tomoya, Toyokawa Etsushi, Kubozuka Yosuke are my three favorite actors, so I have a bit of a bias naturally^_^.
Jun Inohara: Is Long Love Letter really any good? I really want to watch it, but so far haven't managed to find any reviews that say whether or not it's worth seeing. I don't want to be disappointed like I was with "Moichido Kiss"
Errrrr well *I* loved it. It may not have been the most complicated or whatnot, but my sister and I fell in love with it. And it's NOT a traditional love story....exactly ^^;; But Tokiwa Takako and KuboYou (>D my sister and I call him that) have WONDERFUL chemistry...I actually never finished "Mou Ichido Kiss"...cause it was too...it seemed to "heavy" after a while *lol* So I can't compare the endings for you.
great theme song and i felt that yamaguchi tomoko fit the role well opposite of kimura takuya.
4. Konna Koi no Hanashi
one of matsushima nanako's early works. very good plot. sanada hiroyuki played his role wonderfully. theme song also went well with the series.
3. Aishiteru to Itte Kure
probably the best theme song ever ... i also loved tokiwa takako in this one. toyokawa etsushi also played his role convincingly.
2. Kinpachi Sensei
i really love takeda tetsuya in this one. i only wish i had teacher's like him when i went to school. plus, the theme song grows on you after about 10 episodes. hahahaha.
1. Wataru Seken wa Oni Bakari
what can i say? i loved this hashida sugako drama. it's an oldie too. i like the whole real life family concept of this show. plus, i don't think there is any show out there that can depict the whole mother-in-law/daughter-in-law relationship as well as this one. (satsuki and kimi) great drama. my favorite of all-time.

I like...
1) Koi no Kiseki (Miracle of Love)
2) Tomodachi no Koibito (Friend's Lover)
3) P.S. Shunpei, Genki desu.
4) Narita Rikkon (Narita Divorce)
5) Mayonaka wa Betsu no Kao (the other side of midnight)
PS. "Mayonaka wa Betsu no Kao" is a new NHK drama based on the novel "the other side of midnight" by Sidney Sheldon". Check it out!
1. BOKURA NO YUUKI ~MIMAN CITY~ !!!!!!!!
Hehehe I really love this one, although it's really weird, the weirdest dorama I've ever seen :p
Wakaba no Koro used to be my all-time fave dorama, but after I watched Miman City, Wakaba no Koro wasn't ichiban anymore!!! ^_^ *my taste is kinda different from everyone*
2. Wakaba no Koro
3. Tenshi ga Kieta Machi
4. Futari
5. .....*still thinking* maybeee... between Konna Koi no Hanashi and Hitotsu Yane No Shita 1 *haven't watched the 2nd one*...??? dunno >__< can't think of the fifth one
