The problems you're facing is an aftermath of the hacking issues we encountered previously -- several users were deleted from the database.

In SQL sense, it means that the thread has say 1000 posts, but lets say 50 posts were made by users who were deleted, then the SQL joins will return only 950 posts. So if you try to view the last page, there will be no records found.

I can try to solve it by adding in more dummy users to fill up the missing users.. (not yet tho)

Ah, so it's a remnant from that attack... I wonder if there is a way to modify the SQL queries to fix this instead of having to add dummyuserXX. Head Scratch

i don't know if you all know about this problem, but it seems that you can't add any dorams to your list.
Go here to add drama:
http://jdorama.com/mydramas.php?d_new=1

select any dorama and click on the "add" button. (the button with the arrow pointed to the left) The added drama briefly enters in the box and then disappears.

Altho it is a problem, it may not be hi priority. Any feedbacks?

niko, I was just able to add a drama from that page. From what I remember earlier, are you not using IE? Just curious.

(I am using IE at work)

so i guess it's good to go in IE, no? i use firefox at both at work (now) and at home. i tried again, but to no avail. now if i were to go to the individual dorama (lets say 'pride') THEN i can add the drama from the 'add dorama' link on the page:
Pride .

I use Firefox at home so if no one chimes in from now, I'll try it again and report back here. But it does appear to work in IE.

Ok I've fixed it. That was an old script way before Firefox came about, so it was detected as Netscape. Bleah Netscape could not update forms dynamically, so it required some refresh which apparently resetted the form in Firefox.

Should work now! (but probably won't work for Netscape now, hardly see any Netscape users nowadays anyway)

I'm a newbie so need answers to these quick questions:

How to insert a jpeg or gif in the signature section? I saw a lot of the people here do it but signature is all-text right?

How to set avatar using original size (> than 150 x 100)? Again, a lot of people managed to do it but I get sent the same message over and over: My avatar is exceeds space limit (btw, I upload it from my PC).

Don't know where to go for help. Appreciate if anyone could tell me. Thanks vewwy much.

It looks like you found the answer to this.

In order to have the larger avatars, you must upload it to an image hosting website (Uploadit, Photobucket, etc), then link to it in your profile.

dochira is right, looks like you got it down pat. also about linking to a site, looks like you are hosting your pic of nagase from geocities. remember that they have limited bandwidth so when you run out, geocities won't host that pic again until the next month comes out. better use photobucket.com or similar.

A phpBB trait. Sweat Typically it works by recording your last visit, and will attempt to tell you what posts have been created since the time of your last visit. Not exactly sure how it works since I've not looked at the code in detail before. Beaten

Anyone with experience can shed light on this?

I've seen that happen when you open a second jdorama browser window... Odd, but minor, IMO. Smile

it works in time of exit ... i knew .. ! i guess u maintain the time based on sessions

but anyhow the time wld be later than my post ... since bmw has also seen it so i guess it is not a thread specific problem...

will try to note this problem with reference to second browser window as bmw said ...

well nothing major ... just was strange so mentioned it.

Fixed. Somehow phpBB 2.0.17 had a variable renamed (popuppm became popup_pm) but wasn't consistent throughout. Head Scratch
