thanks for starting this thread!
yeah, i'm a recent fan of hasegawa kyoko too...like u, it started with Boku dake no Madonna. then i went on to watch the latter part of Searching For My Polestar, followed by Wonderful Life n then some of See u in Kowloon(?)...should be moving on to M no Higeki or some of her earlier works next.
i notice she looks quite different from 1 jdorama to the next (in fact she's got features dat are not very typical of moz japanese ladies)...her style is quite 'flexible' if u know what i mean. i like her style as surumi most though...her hair n wardrobe in dat show are juz so nice n they compliment her features n surumi's personality very well!
ok...i better stop here before someone thinks i'm a sukebe. :p
hope her acting continues to improve...hope to see her in bigger roles in the near future...hope this thread grows like the 1 with yonekura ryoko n yada akiko!

i guess most of us like her role as surumi in Boku dake no madonna but sadly i think she cut her hair after that drama as her hairstyle is different in wonderful life
5 months after Kyoko was born. (1978)
She was 3720 kg, which is standard weight.
Her mother said, "when she was born, her face looked like a boy."
1 yr and 5 months old, Kyoko started walking.
But it's a little slow for her to start walking and learning language.
3 yrs old then. The pic was took at shrine to celebrate her birhtday.
7 yrs old, Kyoko started her elementary school's life in Funabashi city.
Her hair is short, like a boy. And she was an active, energetic child.
8 yrs old(1987) She transfered her school from Funabashi to Kashiwa.

12 yrs old(1991), She graduated from elemantary school.
She is the second highest among her friends.
15 yrs old(3rd yr of Junior high), one relative who is a model scout asked her to be a model.
But Kyoko-chan refused once cuz she had to study for Kouhaku entrance exam.
15 yrs old(1st yr senior high). Since she is elegance and kawaii, it's the start point of her to become a famous model.
16 yrs old(1994), shaggy hair was popular that time. She started to shape her eyebrows, but it was still thick then.
17 yrs old (1995). Recommended by the hairdresser, she permed her hair lightly.
17 yrs old (1995). Feel a little bit to start her model career.
18 yrs old (1996).
Brown hair and brown skin was popular among her friends (and nearly every kouhaku girls). However, she was unpleasant cuz she was already a model that time and she cannot be that way.
18yrs old (1997). Kyoko-chan graduated from kouhaku (senior high school). She tried her best to lose weight cuz she felt sht must to.
