If you've already seen the deer in Nara, you can go to Miyagi and see the foxes: http://wow11aba.foxes.viralnova.com/fox-heaven/?mb=sga&ts_pid=2

Just a reminder for SoCal folks, March 20th JAL reinstated their non-stop LAX to Osaka service: https://www.ar.jal.com/arl/region/en/flight_planning/lax/kix.html

More choices are good. Starting in October American Airlines will offer LAX to Haneda: http://www.dallasnews.com/business/airline-industry/20150618-american-airlines-to-pick-up-tokyo-route-from-delta.ece

Ladies, you don't have to get married to have a wedding:http://www.cerca-travel.com/english/tailor-made-kyoto-taxi-plan/kyoto-solo-wedding-experience-tour/

Current rate of exchange that comes to about $3,000 US. (That's just for the wedding package it doesn't include the cost of getting to Japan.)

They also have this service if your love life sucks or you've just been dumped and need to vent:http://www.cerca-travel.com/english/special-kyoto-taxi-plans/kyoto-broken-heart-taxi-tour/

Did you know that in Japan they have "melody roads"? They put grooves in the road appropriately spaced, and if you drive the speed limit, it plays a tune. You might have to turn up the volume to hear it well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpM7VwGOEY8

I saw that when I was booking my fall flights. Looks like they're all red-eye flights so far. Hoping they'll move their Narita flight that I usually take and switch it to Haneda. This time, I'm flying AA to LAX, then ANA to Narita. But while I'm there, I'm taking JAL to Komatsu.

This past spring, I took ANA from Haneda to New Chitose and loved it. Very relaxed atmosphere, and all the stews- er, I mean CAs - were attractive young women. Naughty

Never had to do a job interview in Japan and probably never will so I don't know how helpful this really is, but I did think it was interesting: http://blog.gaijinpot.com/interviews-in-japan-a-survival-guide/

NHK is coming out with a new show in April, "J-Trip Plan" giving advice for people planning on traveling to Japan. I couldn't find anything on their homepage but the show does have a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/NHKjtripplan

I guess so. The only time I travelled overseas was when I was in the Navy. Didn't need a passport. But they didn't always go where you wanted to go either. Doh!
