Singer Koda Kumi has just announced on her official website that she is getting married to KENJI03 of the band BACK-ON. The couple plan to register their marriage by the end of this year.

Few details are currently known about their relationship. However, Koda previously collaborated with BACK-ON when the band composed and arranged the song �gPoppin�f love cocktail feat. TEEDA�h on Koda�fs 50th single �g4 TIMES,�h which was released this past August. KENJI03 was part of the chorus for that song.

BACK-ON also collaborated with Koda�fs sister misono for a single titled �gwith you feat. Me�h this past February.

Koda Kumi confirms she is pregnant

Singer Koda Kumi has confirmed rumors that she is currently pregnant. A few days ago, after she suddenly announced that she is getting married to BACK-ON�fs KENJI03, there was much speculation that she was with child, though that was initially denied. However, she decided to directly inform her fans of her pregnancy during a special mini-concert on Friday night.

She told the audience that she is currently in her 8th week of pregnancy, which means that she is not yet in the stable period. Because of that, she had wanted to wait until she entered the stable period before she officially announced the good news. But in order to clear up the confusion that spread among her fans, she chose to personally confirm the rumors.

Koda has several big performances coming up this month. She will appear on TV Asahi�fs Music Station Super Live on December 23, hold a Christmas concert at Yoyogi National Gymnasium on December 24, and participate in NHK�fs Kouhaku Uta Gassen on December 31.

Koda also has a national concert tour planned to start on April 14, 2012, but after learning about her pregnancy she stated that the tour will likely be canceled. However, she also said that she hopes to be able to hold a concert for her 30th birthday on November 13 of next year.

Koda Kumi has announced through her official website that she has given birth to her first child!

Reportedly, Koda gave birth to a baby boy weighing at 2,952 grams (6lbs 8oz). Both mother and baby are healthy. On the 18th, she wrote, �gThere are no words to express how happy I am.�h

Back in December of last year, Koda married rock band BACK-ON�fs vocalist KENJI03 and announced her pregnancy shortly after. The singer is currently restricting her activities post-childbirth, but she�fs scheduled to hold her live tour, �eKODA KUMI Premium Night ~Love & Songs~�e, in November.

Koda Kumi to release new single in November

Koda Kumi will release her new single "Dreaming Now!" on November 13.

The title track for this single will be used as the theme song for NTV's 'Volleyball World Grand Champion Cups 2013' opening on November 12. It's a cheer song with a dance sound that was written for all people who challenge the world. The release date, November 13, is also Koda's birthday.

Koda wrote the song after watching an actual volleyball match and meeting with coach Manabe Masayoshi and volleyball player Kimura Saori. Regarding the song, she commented, "I wanted to make a support song to give energy to the players on the Japanese national team. I think it turned out to be a song that will also unite volleyball fans."

The single will come in 4 different types: Limited Edition CD+DVD, Limited Edition CD-Only, Regular Edition CD+DVD, and Regular Edition CD-Only. As the bonus track, the limited editions will come with a live version of "Ai no Uta", which was recorded during 'a-nation stadium fes.2013'.

Koda Kumi has announced that she will be holding a nationwide tour called 'KODA KUMI LIVE TOUR 2014' starting in March.

'KODA KUMI LIVE TOUR 2014' marks her first hall tour since 'Koda Kumi Live Tour 2011 ~Dejavu~' in 2011. It will kick off on March 12th at Osaka Festival Hall, and will wrap up on July 31st at Ichikawa City Cultural Hall for a total of 44 shows in 25 locations.

Koda Kumi to release new album in February

Koda Kumi will release her new album "Bon Voyage" on February 26th.

The last original album that Koda released was "JAPONESQUE" about 2 years ago. The title of the upcoming album is also its theme, meaning "have a nice trip". It will feature a total of 14 songs including her singles "Go to the top", "Koishikute", and "Dreaming Now!".

The album will be released in 4 different versions: CD+DVD, CD+Blu-ray, Regular Edition, and Fan Club Edition. The Fan Club Edition DVD will contain footage from her fan club live held from October to November of last year.

Koda Kumi to release new single 'Hotel'

Koda Kumi will release her single "HOTEL" on August 6.

Koda's 56th single is said to be a medium tempo number with a mix of reggae, soul, R&B, and hip hop. Through her vocals, the singer attempts to break new grounds. Regarding the song, Koda commented, "If you think about it, the second song 'MONEY IN MY BAG' is more 'the Koda Kumi', but I thought it would be boring if I was within the expectations. In that sense, I don't think 'HOTEL' fits under the category of so-called Koda Kumi-ish songs, but I wanted to push my limits."

Koda has also uploaded a short PV onto YouTube. "In this music video, I wanted to interweave dance, fashion, and women's beauty and strength. I've incorporated refreshing scenes, as well as scenes in a dark room. I was able to show how I can change my image through different expressions, fashion, hair, and make-up," she explained.

Koda Kumi to release new single in November

Koda Kumi will release her digital single "Dance In The Rain" on November 5.

Pre-orders have started via iTunes Store for 110 countries worldwide on October 22. A limited special price edition will also be available for purchase in Japan until November 4 at 11:59 pm.

Additionally, the song will be released as a CD�{DVD Edition for fan club members on November 12. It will include the instrumental version for the title track and the PV's making footage.

Koda Kumi to hold 15th anniversary tour

Koda Kumi will hold her nationwide arena tour 'Koda Kumi 15th Anniversary Live Tour 2015 supported by Mercedes-Benz' from April to June of next year.

On the first day of her 15th anniversary year, December 6, Koda held a fan club members only live called 'Koda Kumi 15th Anniversary First Class 2nd LIMITED LIVE' at Shinkiba STUDIO COAST. The upcoming arena tour will also be held to commemorate the singer's 15th anniversary. Regarding her activities in the next year, Koda commented, "I will do my best to make it a year that will remain in everyone's memories."

Koda Kumi to release new album in March

Koda Kumi has announced that she will release her new album "WALK OF MY LIFE" on March 18.

The singer's 12th original album comes about a year after her last album "Bon Voyage". It will include her singles "Dance In The Rain", "HOTEL", and "MONEY IN MY BAG", along with 13 new tracks for a total of 16 songs.

Koda commented, "At the time of my debut, I didn't know left from right. There was also a time when I hesitated and worried about whether my music was right or wrong, and how Koda Kumi should be. What I think about now in my 14th year is: 'it's not about what people think, but about how I've lived my life'. You only live once. Your efforts, as well as setbacks and sufferings; they all become food for you. This is an album that condenses the path that Koda Kumi has walked on until now added with a new essence."

"WALK OF MY LIFE" will be released in 4 different versions: CD+DVD, CD+Blu-ray, CD-Only, and Fan Club Edition. The Fan Club Edition will come with a DVD containing a documentary footage of her 15th anniversary live. Koda Kumi to make first Singapore appearance in upcoming Asia tour

In July, Koda Kumi will hold an Asia tour tentatively titled 'Koda Kumi Asia Live 2015'.

The singer is currently in the middle of her arena tour to coincide with the release of her new album "WALK OF MY LIFE". For her upcoming Asia tour, she will stop in 2 countries, Taiwan and Singapore. While this will be her 4th time performing in Taiwan, this will be her first in Singapore.
