When I was in Japan last fall, I specifically asked my cousin about this. She said nowadays, it's uncommon for people to name their daughters with names ending with "ko". Her granddaughters' names were "Miyu and "Ayu" but her daughter is named "Keiko". "Ko" ending names, I guess, are old-fashioned. You don't see parents naming their daughters "Diane", "Linda" or "Susan" here now.

Olga, Clementine, and Eunice are making a comeback though.

I hadn't heard about these names or Blanche and Estelle making a comback.
