Though the drama itself isn't especially a favorite of mine (guh, ruined by that ending ), a certain quote from Taiyo to Umi no Kyoshitsu stood out to me.
When Sakutaro (Oda Yuji) tries to stop a student who insists she'll turn into a star after she dies from jumping off the roof, he tells her, "You won't turn into a star. You'll just die and break into pieces. After you die, you won't turn into a star, nor will you be saved. There's no such thing as a beautiful death."
Kinda morbid but I thought it was a good departure from other dramas that romanticize death so much.
Besides that, Kudo Kankuro takes the cake for writing the best quotes.
I liked Haru's "sore wa ikenai"="that's not allowed"/" you can't say/do that" in Suano ni narenakute (insipid drama despite a good cast)
... although I just admitted that even when Juri-chan says nonsense like "gyabo" I'm totally impressed...

When you're a really good actor/actress, you can turn anything to gold.

They've been showing 'Oshin' on 18.2 and last Sunday, episode 42, Oshin is trying to get out of her arranged marriage and her mother says, "Getting married is like riding a horse. Just try it for awhile and you'll get used to it."

Gosh, I really need to take down those quotable quotes in my favorite doramas. I tried to remember some of the good ones. All I could come up was "Donto koi!" from Trick. Lame, haha. _________________

When Eita's character is convinced there's something wrong with his ex college girlfriend because she was out jogging. There must be something wrong, otherwise she wouldn't have been jogging. Jogging!
About eating an expired package of dried something found stuffed in the back of a cupboard. It's 16 months past its expiration date! That's the lifespan of a weak hamster!
