Well, I�Lm ending the 4th year of my graduation in Japanese/Portuguese Literature and Languages, almost on the end of my research on Eisa (Okinawan dance/music) groups, and work at a school for now. That�Ls it. _________________

Hi Betsy, You probaby won't remember my name but I am so glad that you are still living a good life. I always loved your posts and especially the Musashi thread and the photos. I was horrified at what happened to Ebizo. Those late night drinking sessions can get dangerous. I hope he will recover completely. He is too great in Kabuki to lose any physical strength. I think his form of acting must be so punishing mentally as well as the actual performance onstage. There can be no letdown in such a traditional family in the theatre. He has my admiration and sympathy. Please stay around for awhile. :-) Peggy

There was an item about Ebizo on NHK today (wish I had the video). Looks to be in pretty good shape all things considered:http://www.nhk.or.jp/daily/english/society.html
