I'm actually a sucker for snacks instead of food (though being raised around it, I do like ALL of it). Dad used to get me all sorts of sweets with bean in it, try explaining that to people who have never heard of anything like that! Sweat

Daifuku is one of the ultimate things I have a craving for every now and again. Melon Marukawa brand bubble gum! Yum! Pretz, Seaweed, most things melon flavoured... And to wash it all down, C.C. Lemon drink!

As for Japanese food, I'm pretty much madly inlove with Inari Sushi! Sweat

Do you mean daifuku mochi? I like the red beans in the mochi, and to down it with some sencha.....just awesome. BTW, that was my lunch today, inari sushi (along with ck teriyaki).

Yes, Daifuku mochi (though I've had daifuku with melon in it too.) Wah! Lucky bum! I had to eat these weird progee things (their russian, I think?) I haven't had Inari in so long! Shake Head

Da Place list u can get oishi Ramen in L.A

Ramenya
The best Chashu ramen in L.A. (so far)! We highly recommend the Chashu ramen. It was soooo good. We checked out a couple of shops in the West L.A. area (both were very good), but Ramenya was our hands down favorite. Located on Olympic Blvd, a couple of blocks west of Sawtelle (look carefully, cuz it's not exactly the easiest to find, nor is it the prettiest), but it's soooo good. Remember, it's those small 'Mom & Pop' shops that delivers on taste instead of decorative menus. Expect a short wait though, it seems all the locals love this place.

Men-Bei.
Inside this small and bright airy restaurant, you are greeted by a waitress who expects to give you fast and immediate service. Ordering fast may be a problem for the novice ramen eater, because there are over 30 different types of ramen available. If you are not sure what to order, try the 'Menbei Special', a safe and rewarding choice. Also, try a side dish of Gyoza. We were impressed by the neat folds; which by Chinese standards, seven folds are required. If you're into comics, check out the enormous selection of Japanese Manga, (Japanese version of comic book) over by the corner. You may not be able to read the Manga but they're interesting to look at.

Umemura -Gardena
Although packed during lunch, you may find it empty during the evenings. At least you can expect to get close attention while you select from a list of 30 different types of ramen. The portion are always large so expect to stretch your stomach.

Tampopo -Torrance
This small ramen shop is located inside the Yaohan Shopping Center. If you're interested in finding Japanese food & produces, books, videos, toys, etc., Yaohan has it! After your shopping, Tampopo's ramen has it's own unique taste. The obvious difference is in their soup stock which has flavoring of pre-grilled onion bits. This cafeteria style shop requires you to self-service

Anyone can reccomend Good local Jresto who serve oishi Ramen Wink
