When does that start airing? Is it subtitled? Is it any good?

It says August 29th, will replace Taiyo No Kisetsu(Season of the Sun), Yes it is subtitled in Eng., I think HOTMAN just came out this year, 2003.
The Schedule can be found here:
http://www.geocities.com/isweartoyou/dramasontv.htm
As for synopsis, I think you can find it here on JDorama:

anyway there was this beautiful I MEAN BEAUTIFUL actress playng that she has to take care or her grandma or aunt..any 1 know what i'm talking about?...who is that girl!?? i'm planning on putting her on my avtar! SHE IS THAT PRETTY!!! that dorama kicks ass...not ur typical kdrama....(2 bad its on the samw ime as dr. cotos clinic....sp?) |
hehe, did you miss the 1st ep of Bodyguard which aired the Sunday before you started watching? This is one of the hottest (as in rating-wise) K-dramas right now in Korea (and yes, it's still airing in Korea)!
anyways, the actress you are referring to is: Lim Eun Kyung (I believe this is her first role ever for any TV drama/movie)
there's a thread for the discussion of this series here: http://soompi.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=89322

for any 1 in the LA area YOU gotta watch this k-dorama its really good..ACTION PACKt or atleast start taping it...ITS WOETH WATCHING..
hey creidesca its relly THAT LONG! how manny ep is it? (estimate) |
^_^
the series will be at ep 16 by this Sunday (as 2 epis are aired each weekend, starting from 7/5) in Korea...as for how many episodes, I'm not really sure, but I did hear the series is supposed to end sometime in the Fall then another weekend drama will replace it (which we'll be able to see w/ eng subs once Bodyguard is over here in SoCal)
don't worry, this series should be much shorter than the 2 previous weekend dramas before it (Home Sweet Home w/ 52 epis, and Who's My Love? [which I have to say is one of the best dramas ever!] at 84 epis)

there's a reason why the grandma has to be sick...that's all I'm going to say since I did watch up to ep 12 in korean (w/o subs)
Well let's see, in Home Sweet Home, the Cha Tae woong got a very diff type of cancer, but he didn't find out about it till ep 40something, but the series still came out a happy ending (I really liked the Cha Tae woong character in that series...so much life and consideration for others!)

LOL the character that cha seung won plays still lives with his MOM!!! i saw that LOL NOW THAT"S FUNNY
and im eun kyung IS SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!! WAY BETTER THAT ryoko hirouse fukada kyoko and ryoko Yonekura put together
and i like how han go eun kicks ass..she's sooooo cool!
thanks again for the info creidesca |
tsk tsk tsk, guess you didn't read my tv drama listing for SoCal closely enough =P
for the most part, 2 epis of each K-drama are aired per week in Korea, w/ the exception of the daily dramas, which are aired each weekday (unless pre-empted for a major news event)
I really wish they could air Attic Cat (airs on KSCI at 9:30pm M-Tues) w/ eng subs--this is one of the best K-dramas for 2003...but good thing someone is uploading the series w/ eng subs
that's one of the things I love about Bodyguard--Cha Seung Won still living w/ his parents and w/o a permanent job (well till either yesterday's or tonight's epi)

Let me tell you why the grandma has to be sick (I'm basically spoiling it, but I think you'll see it in ep 06 or 07--next week's epis on KXLA): because if she isn't sick (close to her death), then we would never find out Na Young's real identity! And a lot of things will be revealed about Na Young's identity in the upcoming episodes.

Yup, it's mine =P
As to how I find out the stuff...checking out the KSCI, Fujisankei, Asahi Homcast webpages, as well as actually watching nearly all the dramas myself (checking the timeslots), since I'm into chinese, japanese, and korean dramas (besides renting chinese dramas at the rental store)
