Aya Matsuura getting married
On August 3rd, it was reported that w-inds.' vocalist Tachibana Keita and singer Matsuura Aya are getting married.
According to Sankei Sports, the couple are planning to register their marriage on the 4th. The source says Matsuura visited Hawaii back in June to look over the location for the wedding ceremony beforehand, and it will be held there sometime this fall, probably after October. A person close to the couple revealed that the wedding ceremony will be a small one since they are inviting mainly family members.
Both Tachibana and Matsuura made their debut in 2001, and they started their relationship right after their debut. Apparently, they began living together starting last year.
One of the reasons why they decided to get married could be that Tachibana seems to be fulfilling his life at work, as he made his solo debut as KEITA this year, along with his activities in w-inds.. On the other hand, Matsuura, who revealed that she has been diagnosed with endometriosis since 4 years ago, has been setting a limit to her activities for a little more than a year.
Reportedly, Matsuura will continue restricting her activities for a while after the marriage as well.
It is expected that there will be an official announcement from the couple soon.

Matsuura Aya and Tachibana Keita (w-inds.) have registered their marriage on August 4th.
While the two have been dating for over 12 years, they've never admitted to their relationship. Matsuura explained, "There were reports on our relationship several times, but I decided that the time we would say anything would be when we got married so that I wouldn't cause trouble to everyone concerned with me, including my fans. So I'm sorry that I wasn't able to report it until now."
She also said, "He's been there my entire youth. Sad times, painful times, happy times, fun times, all of them. Until now, I've spent every day feeling happy, but from now on, I hope to make a new happiness by becoming family and making a home together."
Regarding their future, Tachibana commented, "While having a family and experiencing various things, I will devote my everyday to grow as a man. Also, I want to work even harder." Matsuura also said, "I am still immature, but I will try my best to become a strong, lovely, and reliable woman in order support this stoical and hardworking Kyushu boy."

Matsuura Aya is currently 7-months pregnant and is expected to give birth to her first child before the year's end.
Matsuura released a joint announcement with husband Tachibana Keita (w-inds.) stating, "There will be a new bond between us husband and wife. At this time, we have been blessed with a baby." They continued, "Right now, I am preparing my mind and body for delivery. We hope that everyone will continue to warmly watch over us. We would like to make an announcement again after I have safely given birth to our baby."
Matsuura and Tachibana tied the knot in August of 2013 after 12 years of dating.

Aya Matsuura gives birth to a baby girl
It will be a Merry Christmas for w-inds.' Tachibana Keita and Matsuura Aya as on December 24 they announced via their agencies that they have become parents of a healthy baby girl!
They wrote to the press, "Please allow us to make an announcement that our first baby girl is born safely. Both mother and child are in good condition. It's been quite hectic and busy, but we are spending every day happily with full of smiles."
Tachibana and Matsuura were married in August of last year after dating for 12 years, and they announced Matsuura's pregnancy this past September.
The couple did not reveal the details on the baby including her exact date of birth.

Aya Matsuura terminates contract with Up-Front Promotion after 17 years
Up-Front Promotion has announced that Aya Matsuura has terminated her contract as of September 15th.
Matsuura signed with Up-Front after passing an audition in 2000 and made her solo debut with the single "Doki! Doki! LOVE Mail" in April 2001. In 2013 she married Keita Tachibana and she is currently focusing on raising their daughter. Matsuura will transfer to Tachibana's independent management company.
