Wow! Thank you, Genma!
I'll do all in my power to uphold policy and still maintain diplomacy.

Hey BMW,
I agree with a number of people here that you should seriously consider becoming a Mod. Why? Because you fulfill all the necessary requirements, as posted by Genma:
1) You're friendly - at least, you are to me
2) You're impartial - if you forget about Ryoko-chan, that is
3) You're always on the site ( ) - I sometimes wonder what the heck you do for a living
4) basic instincts - yup, you've got this one down too
So, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be a Mod. If you need help in nominating yourself, feel free to let me know. Be happy to do it for you!

Thanks for the props, but as I've said before, I'd rather remain unfettered...
And besides, I don't wanna type up a resume to sell myself....

And now for something completely different:
Can you imagine Ryoko-chan in Sharon Stone's role in a Japanese version of Basic Instinct? Wow, that'd be a complete change of type-casting for Ryoko.

Ha. Something just popped into my head after reading the above and, while the verbiage might be incorrect, hey -- I took Latin. And that something is:
Biru de smoking ja nai!
Somehow, I see Katsunori Takahashi in the "Nick" role. Maybe Beat Takeshi as "Gus."
Currently we have groink, eltinator, Akakage and eightysix who've nominated themselves. Only groink and eightysix have commented on the points I've brought up in the previous post. The rest? Still thinking? _________________

Okay taking a break from studying for Diff Eq test and watching Barry try to hit 700. So here goes the eltinator 2004 campaign, LOL
1) rapport with members (friendly )
I suppose so, just don't make fun of Aya-chan J/k, I think I get along pretty well with everyone here. Well you guys are the judge of that
2) ability to handle situations impartially (not get involved yourself)
I think I can handle things pretty well. Been putting water on flame wars for a while now and I think I can reason things pretty well. I'm the type of person that relies on facts to make a desicion so I make sure I listen to both stories before coming to any conclusion.
3) commitment of time to this forum
hehehe, yea I'm online quite a bit
4) basic mod instincts - to sieve out or stop bad posts diplomatically
Locking/deleting topics isn't new to me so I think I can adapt pretty well to the modding atmosphere of jdorama. If a user has a problem with a locked or deleted topic, I don't mind explaining to them why it got locked/deleted.
