so far the new mods are doing good, i hardly been posting much cuz of school then thanksgiving weekend i was out of town, but i come here everyday but yeh i also dont like the newbies posting w/o reading the guidelines part really annoying. _________________
I second that.... Seems like more and more people are repeating their posts asking who is this, help me... stuff like that.. They dont seem to utilize the search button..
Yes, apparently it's mostly happened in the Artiste thread. It is somewhat irritating because sometime they keep on making another one when the other was locked. Oh, well that's ok I can handle it so far hehehe..
Overall, things have been very good for me. I've had one moderator-related instance, which unfortunately many of you saw. One of the things I truly believe in is that everything posted on JDorama.com should be enjoyable by all members. And, if a very large percentage of people cannot enjoy a particular post, especially in a topic/forum that doesn't specialize in the language being used, I'd rather not have it posted. And in that instance, I stuck with that idea.
Now that I have access to the moderator forum, I can discuss issues like this with the other mods in private.

Encoding expert??
You always seem to have the answer quickly when someone needs help encoding files. You can say that videohelp was your oracle, you just knew what to search for.

Yep, videohelp.com is the Encyclopedia Brittanica when it comes to that subject... And I've become pretty adept (inept?) at searching for help in their forums, from past experience...

Well Bryan, it was nice having you here. Perhaps I'll see you on the KikuTv boards? Maybe even one day, I might bump into you in person. Thanks for your efforts. Take it easy. _________________

If not, just go down to Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and ask for him. _________________
