I was a moderator on D-Addicts from January thru June 2004. I resigned from D-Addicts in early June when my anti-piracy views was unpopular at the site. During that period, I did an exceptional job at maintaining the site's organization of its forums, as well as educating the newbies of proper message board ettiquite. I was also the founder of the #d-addicts IRC channel, which I also left in June.
I was also a moderator at several non-Asian entertainment forums, including an Apple Computer oriented message board, a legacy computer collectors message board, and an anime model garage kit building message board. Besides web-based boards, I've also been a system opeartor at several dial-up and TELNET-based bulletin board systems (BBS) since 1979. And, I was an operator for a Macintosh-oriented IRC channel on DALNet for four years, providing support for Mac users all over the world.

Actually, I PM'ed Genma it a few days back when he announced it. Pretty sure he mentioned it. I can post it later if you guys want. But for right now, I need sleep to get up for 8AM classes.

Hehehe, not really. It's just that in high school I was involved with this Campus Ministry Team (I went to a private High School) and we were selected to be religious leaders of the school. Yea hard to believe for me eh
Anyways, since this was during senior year, and every year only senior would be selected, we wanted to screen the applicants and stuff so me and my friends came up with all these reality show gigs like american idol and stuff. In the end the school wouldn't allow us to lock students up in a class room for 1 week so we weren't allowed to pick our successors, LOL

This trial period is for the new mods to try out and see for themselves if its suitable for them. Others users may make your own observations and give feedback to them too.
Your first tasks would be to discuss with the current mods in your respective forums about the guidelines. Make sure you're all sure of them before acting on the existing posts!
