We need deticated translators that'll help us, especially with happy seven, since our translator that had that project is now really busy. We also really need timers to get our projects going, also. Please contact us if you can help. And I'm also running out of ideas for karaoke, so please, if you can do karaoke effects, contact us. If you don't like doing the \k timing, we'll do it for you. But we REALLY need someone to do the effects. we also need people to coordinate our torrents (i.e. we'll send the files to you so you can help us seed in the beginning, right after we release)
If you would like to help us out, join:

Or, email me at the address above

Hi, i was wondering if there are any real or half japanese people here, and if you can translate japanese into english (fair enough).
Because i'm from a fansub group who would like to have some translators in my team.
So if you are, and are interested, please reply

Hello, hope this is the appropriate place to post this.
I'm producing an independent documentary on Japanese music and it's relationship with English-speaking audiences. More specifically focusing on Japanese artists who have played in America and discussing the differences between Japanese and Western music scenes. I've already interviewed Zazen Boys, LITE and soon Shonen Knife and possibly Melt-Banana. In addition to the artists, I'm going to interview people involved with bringing Japanese music to the US, music critics, record producers, fans, etc. I'm hoping to just bring more attention to Japanese music and hopefully expand these artists' fanbase internationally.
Anyhow, I barely know any Japanese at all and have been relying on the off chance that the people I'm talking to know enough English to hold a conversation with. Arranging the interviews and such hasn't been that difficult thus far, however I still have not found someone to translate the recorded interviews yet. I am also hoping to find interpreters to accompany me on these interviews, but the more important issue is getting the stuff on tape translated after the fact. Of course, I'm producing this by myself which means the budget is more or less non-existent. However, if I am able to find a reliable translator, I am more than willing to figure out some kind of payment/reimbursement.
This project is very dear to me and I'm just hoping to find others who are actually willing to be a part of it. I have talked to many friends and strangers about it in the past, and while they are ALL interested in seeing the final product, no one has actually volunteered to be a part of it. The prospect of me learning enough Japanese to do all of this legwork myself is out of the question, so I'm scrambling to find outside help. I figured that some people in the fansubbing community might be interested, which is why I'm posting here.
Please contact me with any questions and/or suggestions, as I would severely appreciate the help. Thanks!
