Vibus,

Thank you.

Yeah, I put the title into google and got page after page of dramas and books written by Mukoda Kuniko.

I appreciate the help.

BMW,

Hey, the guy at Japan Zone did good by me. I didn't want to push it.

Now, watch for further posts where I wander the net asking anyone and everyone if they've got this special.

(I've already put in requests at both KTFS and KIKU.)

I'm sure he appreciates that you visit the site to inquire... Besides, the worst thing he could say was that he couldn't help you, so why not ask?

Isn't there a Little Tokyo up around SF that you could check out for Jdoramas?

I just don't get into the city that often these days.

And when I do, all that's really there are the big chains.

And ordering a movie through them amounts to signing over your house.

Speaking of the latter, try yesasia and cdjapan.

Time to put out an APB for that series....

I doubt KIKU-TV will be airing this. As of this writing, KIKU-TV's receiving a grade of "D" from me in regards to bringing in new content. Ever since JNP and KIKU-TV were separated, the quality of its programming have been going downhill. Bleah

BMW,

I'm gonna try yesasia and CDJapan, but getting one special (not a series), on region 1, with english subs, from those guys is a lot like pushing a peanut up a mountain with your nose.

Groink,

KIKU might have fallen off after its seperation from JNP... but I think it's still far superior to KTSF.

Not Groink, but reside in the same island as he.

What is KTSF anyway? The San Fran Japanese station? Crazy

I might be able to help you out. I have another part time job, so depending on how long the script is, I can't guarantee you anything, but I love translation work, so pm me and we can see if we can't work something out Smile

PostPosted: Tue Sep 21, 2004 4:12 pm    Post subject: [req] Need anime translator for a new anime aired in Japan Reply with quote Back to top

Animeyuki is in real need of translators and would like to request anyone from here that has knowledge of Japanese could contact me or Animeyuki itself.

The anime is Kannazuki no miko, which will be aired on October 4th in Japan, the trailer is available here http://www.animate.tv/pv/detail.php?id=pdv040916a&page=0&m=p&tid=&rid=
the infor could be found at http://www.animenfo.com/animetitle,1487,zoeauk,kannazuki_no_mi.html

Kannazuki no miko is somewhat interesting,in my opinion,of course. Animeyuki's next project is Mai-Hime,animeyuki has been fansubbing rare and new anime. Anyone interested in fansubbing Kannazuki no miko or anyfansub group intend to join Animeyuki to fansub kannazuki no miko,OR anyone has any acquaintances are interested in fansubbing ,plz do contact me ... send an email to [email protected],or simply pm me or visit #animeyuki at rizon .But i dun think someone will give u responce in the irc channel,so plz contact me first.

Thx a bunch
