haha i know that.. but i like that way of addressing.. -san sounds a bit formal.. just like in arashi everyone calls aiba masaki aiba-chan and ohno satoshi oh-chan.. it's a very informal and sweet way of calling people janai?
in fact, i like calling tsukamoto takashi tsuka-chan as well.. as for nari, he is called nari-chan by many fans imo.. ^^ datte nari-chan kawaii da mon.. especially in those peanut pants! haha..
LOL OK NP,its just us japanese were tought that way that we address
ppl over the age of 20 give or take,by san or sama, but not chan cause its informal 2 call a grown man a child in japan thats all.

wah! this thread has really died down ne....poor Nari-kun...has no loyal fans in this forum x) not-loyal fans, that is, including me*hit my own head* xD gomen nasaaaai ne, Nari-kun!
Actually, have watched him in M no Higeki...but he didnt shine at all in that drama...of course, since he's not the lead^^ But I thought he was quite prominent in Orange Days, althou only a supporting role.
Anyway, start liking him again in IMA AI NI YUKIMASU!!!! Takumi-kun kawaaaiii!!! haha...i think this is the first time he act as an introvert type of guy...passive, and insecure. Have no self-confident. Such the opposite with his womanizer character in Orange Days and Last Quarter! xD
Will keep watching this drama for Nari's sake!! I love watching him as Takumi, so sweet!^o^
demo...kawaii sou ne...the ratings are not too good...it even drop to 9.2% in the 5th ep I wonder why....while the movie was a big success.
Oh...Nari-kun and Nakamura Shidou voice-acted as the leads in anime movie entitled Arashi no Yoru ni. About a wolf(Nakamura) named Gabu and a cute goat(Nari) named Mei, they are bestfriends^^ haha, coincidentally, both acted as Takumi Aio in the movie and drama versions of IMA ne^^ One-minute clip on: http://arayoru.com/pc/yokoku.html
Nari-kun will also debut as lead vocalist of a rock band in the movie entitled Bandage. His first leading movie, premiere next year. Seems like Nari-kun starts to...motto, motto...dekkakunaru!^^ hee... _________________

what's this dorama about?? in which channel will this be showing?
Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu showing on TBS. The movie version premiere in mid-2004, starring Yuko Takeuchi and Nakamura Shidou, who recently got married, was a massive success. The book was a best-seller too, if im not mistaken.
The story is about a young single father, Takumi Aio(Narimiya) and his son, Yuji Aio(acted by the same child actor in the movie). Mio Aio(Mimura), Takumi's wife and Yuji's mother died coz of illness one year ago. But, before she died, she promised Yuji that she will be back one year later after her death in the rainy season. Yuji keep believing that it will come true.
On the first day of the rainy season, miraculously, Mio appear in front of Takumi and Yuji in the forest. However, she has no memories at all. She dont know her own name, and she dont recognize Takumi and Yuji, either....
The story is about miracle of love, I guess. Based on the movie, what really happen is not like how the audience thought...that Mio miraculously come back alive. However, although it will be explained later what really happen, it is still something mysterious and a miracle^^
What I love about the story...is how Takumi and Mio's love story has to start all over again from scratch, since Mio lost her memories. Plus, Takumi is really a passive guy, introvert, have no self-confident. They talk to each other with really polite language, like they're strangers^^ also when they coincidentally touching hands...they went all awkward and nervous x) Once, Takumi spontaneously said that Mio is beautiful, once again...silence and awkward atmosphere...hehe....
Mio sleep with Yuji in the room, and Takumi sleep outside(poor takumi! x)). One night, Takumi cannot control his feelings and caress Mio's hair, who is sleeping. Mio jumped in fright. And Takumi apologize over and over, nervously^^
Also, the highschool flashbacks!! There are still little of them in the drama. But I love the flashbacks in the movie!^^ Takumi had a crush on Mio for 2 and a half years, they even sit side by side in the class, but their interactions are none other than just ohayo greetings xD then they graduated even before everything started. However, they'll meet again 1-2 years later...and that's how everything started.
Cannot wait for this part come up in the drama! I want to see Nari-kun in MORE romantic scenes!!!^o^
oh, in the press conference, Nari said that he can understand why Nakamura Shidou and Yuko Takeuchi fell in love after doing the movie, but then jokingly claims that he and Mimura would not follow their footsteps. Ha....lets see....^_^ _________________

Wow! Thank you for the summary, yanie_chan! I really really want to see this drama, "Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu" now! I had also heard about the movie previously, but I have not seen it, though Takeuchi Yuko is one of my favourite actresses. Do you mean that she fell in love with her co-star, Nakamura Shidou, during the shooting of the movie and they got married? That is so romantic!

You're welcome^^
if you like Takeuchi, you HAVE TO watch the movie!^^ I love it! I love the romantic scenes and the plot...esp. the unexpected ending where Mio's diary revealed everything...sugoooi!!! I love Ima The Movie more, more than Sekai Chuushin The Movie, thou I like this one too^^
heee...uso, you didnt know? i thought that was the hottest news, in these few months x) Yuko Takeuchi is like, Miss Dekichatta Kekkon of The Year! haha....gomen nasai, just kidding^^
But, its true...they got married after Yuko Takeuchi was 5 months pregnant, they registered their marriage application on June 25th this year. They will have the wedding ceremony next year, after the baby's birth. And yes...they fell in love during the filming of the movie^^
oh, just a little fact...Mimura, who got the role as Mio Aio of the drama version, is Takeuchi's agency junior(kouhai)^^
ah, sumimasen...this is suppose to be a Nari-kun thread^^ anyone know, has Nari-kun ever been linked with any other actress? or, any rumours about his love life?^^ _________________
