My work site is a few blocks from Bloch Arena in Pearl Harbor. That's where all the Navy recreation facilities are located, including the Navy's travel agency.

Spectacular! Temperature should be in the high 70's to low 80's around that time. It does rain off-and-on during late Fall. And it shouldn't be humid. Though we recognize the four seasons, it doesn't really affect Hawaii weather all that much... It pretty much stays consistent all year long, as long as the trade winds are around.

For me my favorite all around island was Oahu. It has a good mix of everything. If you want the crowds and shopping and lots of choices of places to eat you have the city if you want some peace and beautiful scenery it is not a long drive to the other parts of the island. Hanauma bay is spectacular.
I think Kauai is the most beautiful island but it can become a little boring if you stay a long time and are not the type who likes to lounge around all day.
I did not enjoy Maui as much as Hawaii, Oahu, or Kauai at least as a tourist . Gomen. _________________ From the Simpsons

Still no plans for where I'll be for the most part, but I will be in Oahu at least a few days. Hope to see some of you folks! |
I'm sure Aho and The Man will be accomodating.

I'm here!!!
I'm not exactly the Danny Kaleikini type (he's known as the Ambassador of Aloha around these parts). At the very least I'd like for you, Aho, and whoever else to get together one night with me and some of my KIKU-TV friends, eat some fine Japanese food and sake at Momomo, then maybe hit the Japanese karaoke bar as an appetizer.

Sounds good! Who do you hang out with on the KikuTV boards? Saburo? Saistea? Yariman?
What about Jay Yagami?! Nah, J/K!
Never heard of the Momomo place. Where is it located? _________________

KIKU-TV people include Saburo, Kayoko, Ronin 04, and a few others... As for Jay Yagami, that guy's something else! He once said he'd be at a Kikaida event. So when we asked him what he looks like, he said he had black hair and he's Asian.
As for Momomo... It's in Kaimuki, on the bottom of Waialae Avenue. They've only been open for less than a year, but it's one of the few places that allow you to hang out for HOURS!!!! It's one of those Japanese restaurants where your legs sit underneath the floor. And their sake collection -- two full pages worth!!!!

Oh ok, I know that place now! That black restaraunt. Used to pass by there everyday when I was staying with grandma and grandpa up in St Louis Heights. I always wondered how the food was there. My friend and I keep on saying, "We'll go we'll go". But it never happened. At least I now have some feedback.
Yeah, sounds good. And they have 2 full pages worth of sake??!!! I'M THERE!!!!!! _________________
