I am probably the last of the Mohicans to catch Tsutsumi in Musashi.
For many moons, I couldn't get pass ep. 1. I have never seen a full Taiga drama and 49episodes are loooooooooong. But I cannot doubt the raving reviews in the forum so i watched from ep. 49 to ep. 1 instead literally. Unbelievable. Matahachi really sends me rolling with laughter. I love his ka ka and his Ikemi.
Some conclusions remain however: I am still no fan of Taiga drama because i cannot understand why a samurai dun wan to find a job and prefers to go round looking for a duel. I can never appreciate the bushido spirit that makes every guy yearning to die "quickly", i beg your pardon - i mean honourably.
Conclusion 2: I will never touch a samurai sword exhibit (I use to find it fascinating)....unless someone finds me one which hasn't seen blood.
Conclusion 3: If anyone is sick of watching the boy bands leading a jdorama, watch a Taiga.
Nonetheless, thanks to all Tsutsumi fans for the recommendation.

Minna San, Konichiwa : i watched it this morning - it was online - someone put it up in March 2009 ! A whole year since this question was put up here you may perhaps have already found it now....
By the way, my name is lizakajang. I am a new fan of Tsutumi and I have not much idea about him. i used to hang out at the NEWS forum a whole lot, but that was some time ago.
What i have heard about Tsutsumi however is he is a very good actor. from what i see on various forums, many people think so..... _________________
